One of my favorite jockeys. However, there was a time a few years back when he got into trouble for standing up before the finish line and letting other horses pass him. Happened several times. He almost lost his career.

How embarrassing is that to lose by 16 lengths to a clubfoot. In that first race, it was 16. In their shoes, I’d never live it down.
Whomever wrote that headline should be horsewhipped.
