Here’s one of the fatal pit bull attacks that he missed.
July 26, 2010
CONCORD, Calif. (CBS/AP) A California man was arrested Thursday afternoon on suspicion of felony child endangerment and possession of mischievous animals after three of his pit bulls attacked and killed his step grandson.
The 2-year-old victim, Jacob Busbee, was at home Thursday morning with his grandmother, uncle, and 4-year-old brother, when he walked into the garage and was attacked by the family dogs, reports CBS affiliate KPIX. The boy died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.
Well, it’s recent enough one can forgive him for not getting it up on his site yet, but this only bolsters the irresponsible owner angle, based on the charges and arrest of the owner.
That fatal “pit bull” attack was caused by three dogs alright, but not three pit bulls. There are pictures here of the three dogs, and the first is obviously a lab with a dudley nose. The middle dog looks like a mutt that *might* have pit bull blood in it, but is definitely not enough to warrant calling it a pit bull. The last dog is the only one that looks like a pit bull-type. So, out of the three dogs, the one looking like a pit bull was the breed they chose to call all three for their headlines. And you and others believe the media, who must be experts at identifying dog breeds! Are they going to list this in the lab category as well? I highly doubt it.
Secondly, this story includes details that prove the parents were extremely irresponsible. How is it ok for a four year old to be in charge of a two year old? The four year old was the one who alerted the parents that something was wrong in the first place! But nevermind all of this logic, pit bulls are evil!
