Like I said, I fail to see where the crime was committed.
It’s about providing a safe environment. When the mom says “The dad is threatening to kill me” and that she fears for the child’s safetywith him, that’s sufficient for investigation. Apparently that added to his history of abuse complaints and and the parent’s various disabilites and history of abuse themselves was sufficient for removal in addition to other things possibly not mentioned in the article.

A crime hasn’t been committed. They did it because sometime in the future someone may hunt them. Sort of like some having their children taken away because they may grow up and become overweight. Oh that’s right, they are doing that in the UK.
