I wouldn’t worry about the Gulf sea floor exploding. Just take a couple of aspirins and lie down for a while.

If it does, you can be sure Mexico, Brazil, China or Saudi Arabia -- anybody but us -- will get the oil rights.

Yes, it’s about to explode. Stand back at least 10 feet, please.

It's an ROV sitting on the sea bed lifting off and turning kicking up silt from it's propulsion units.

No more likely than it has been for thousands of years.

Don’t waste your time here, Freeps, it’s a series of ad for someone’s stupid “See the future” web site.

VERY INSULTING.

Freaking SCAMMER.

I have no idea what it means, but that does indeed look pretty significant to this layman’s eyes.

My guess is that the floor of the Gulf of Mexico will explode at any moment causing a tidal wave with a height of 29,028 feet, wiping out all live on earth except for some dude who is summating Everest.

Maybe you have listened to a bit too much of Kook to Kook AM.
Last week, Richard Hougland, Mr. NASA and the all things scientific, FRAUD, was wringing his hands over some gigantic methane bubble on the gulf floor.
It was going to erupt and wipe out all life in Florida
and the rest of the gulf coast.

Not to worry though, on other programs, they mention that ET is on the way to being disclosed, and will probably save the Earth.

I think the voice over puts the thought in your mind that the sea floor is rising and falling, but it looks like it could just as easily (if not more likely) be the platform (robot) the camera is on is rising and falling, not the sea bed. When the sea bed appears to rise is when the robot goes lower, and vice versa.

If it does, then I can go to the beach and get all the oil I want!

The camera that made the video is attached to something. That something moved. It looked to me like it moved up a couple of feet, then sank down again; this disturbed the bottom sediment, which billows up.

The person who posted the video thinks that the floor of the Gulf of Mexico bulged and then subsided, probably because of something Dick Cheney did. Or maybe the the entire crust of the earth is undergoing strange deformations as it writhes pitifully in agony due to the presence of so many conservative right-wingers walking around on it's surface.
