Multiple media and network television sources confirmed to me Thursday that Keith Olbermann will not appear on NBCs Football Night In America Sunday evening NFL broadcasts this season. Some members of the FNIA cast and crew were made aware of the news Tuesday at a preseason production meeting in New York City. Afterwards, the cast and crew adjourned to Yankee Stadium to watch the Yankees-Blue Jays game.

Not sure how reliable this guy is but I refuse to watch the NBC pre-game show while Olbermann is on it.

Ah, contributing to the bitterness of Olbermann is just too much fun.

A small step in the right direction for me. But after saying someone like Limbaugh is outside the mainstream, no NFL for me again this season. And it is hard for me to understand how any other conservative would renew season tickets, go to or watch an NFL game this season.

As soon as it came on I habitually switched it off. If I scanned any particular advertiser while doing so, I avoided buying their product. Sometimes when I memorize a product from a deal like that (Heinz Katsup anyone?) it just becomes ingrained behaviour.

NBC must have got my email along with emails from many others. I told them I would not watch their broadcasts as long as Olbermann was on them. So I didn’t.

Well, looks like I can watch Sunday night football again. I refused to watch anything with that jerk a part of it, however brief it may have been.

Well I guess this means I can start watching the pre-game show on NBC Sunday Night Fussball....assuming they don’t replace his pussified arse with Chrissy Mathews.

I used to stay up and watch any and all NFL late night games but I stopped watching about 5 years ago. I could no longer stand the stench of these union saps earning millions playing a game. Having said that, I won’t judge others who do because it is just my personal choice to not support them.
