This story is a little bit of a tempest, actually. It seems to take advantage of those who don’t know what the role of the Solicitor General is.

Once BO was sworn into office he was represented by government lawyers, and the Solicitor General is the attorney who is “of record” in the govt’s SCOTUS cases. Of course, the Solicitor General is appointed by the sitting POTUS.

Her name is probably on dozens of cases at the Supreme Court, certainly any briefs filed there by the government during her term as SG. Her role in the eligibility suits isn’t quite like Bauer’s was before he became WH counsel, although I would bet her office coordinated with him.

Starwise, I think you know that as much as anyone, I want to see the SCOTUS decide the meaning of ‘natural born citizen,’ as written in the Constitution. But this story annoys the hell out of me.

She was Solicitor General of the United States. The SG represents the US Government in cases before the Supreme Court !!! Well, duh. Of course her name is going to be on all those cases. That is the Solicitor General’s job. It was always thus for the SG.

Someone ought to smack that author upside the head. Grossly deceptive.

Kagan will have no choice but to recluse herself when any of the BC cases come before the SCOTUS. Would think that Sotomeyer would have to do the same....That leaves seven justices....Is that enough?

GOD gave us a plan. In the Bible, it is known as Exodus. The Commandments were handed down there, and FREEDOM was ours for the choosing. We chose wrongly. We chose earthly kings instead of freedom. We have been paying the price for that ever since.
GOD will not redeem us FOR us. We MUST redeem ourselves first.

Did WorldNetDaily just now find out that Kagan was Solicitor General? They’re getting a bit behind the curve.

Only a socialistic marxist would create a plan to force as many appointed SCOTUS members to step down for various reasons.

Even to go so far as to plant new appointees that will later have to step down on the sacrificial sword.

Or natural causes.

SCOTUS is the higher tier target of the communist party.

If anyone knowingly helped a man with foreign citizenship into the presidency, they should be hung on a tree outside of the White House.

Pelosi did exactly that.

She certified that he was qualified for the office in 3 states, including HI. Because she omitted the appropriate certification from the other states reporting, it is obvious she knew he did not meet the qualifications.

It is utterly unimaginable.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solicitor_General_of_the_United_States

The United States Solicitor General is the person appointed to represent the Government of the United States before the Supreme Court of the United States. Currently[update], the Solicitor General is Elena Kagan, who was confirmed by the United States Senate on March 19, 2009. The Principal Deputy, Neal Katyal, is currently serving as Acting Solicitor General.[1]

Yes, you are correct, and it seems logical for her name to be on those cases. But it also gives a very good reason for a reasonable person to conclude the appointment to the Supreme Court is "pay back" for services rendered.

Are you sure? Knowing this crowd, I would not bet on that.

I once asked a Senate office staffer who he worked for — and he named the Senator. I said, who does the Senator work for? The staffer said “HIMSELF.” He actually thought the Senator was SELF-EMPLOYED because they have to raise money for themselves, campaign for themselves, and don’t have a job contract or guarantee. Yep. That’s how kids think today. It’s entrepreneurial political careers!! And if you think about it, that is how Pelosi and Reid and all of them behave—they’re in it for their own enrichment and self-aggrandizement. There is no notion of public service left—that’s only for the criminal defense attorneys.

I guess it figures that she would be in on this since she is solicitor general. What pisses me off is that our tax dollars are being used to defend this man’s secrets from the American people!! The other question that comes to mind...is her appointment to the supremes a quid pro quo for keeping silent on the truth of his BC and other papers he is hiding?

IMPEACH!! IT’s TIME!!

OZero is setting the stage for the final act of him becoming a dictator and the GOP is going along with it.

This is not going to end well.

Obozo is going down. The question is when and who will be sucked down with him in the vortex he draws. My prayer is that the Dem will be so discredited that they will never again offer a credible political front in the U.S.

Don't count on it. "They" are setting him up in their own little dictatorship. We The People haven't been able to do anything to stop it. It'll be long after we're gone and in the history books before he's down and out.

Just yesterday a friend brought up that she's beginning to fear that the America we know is slipping away and that something very bad is on the horizon. She fears our generation will be the last to know prosperity and freedom but that our children's generation will be hit with something they won't survive. She said she was "scared." Though she hadn't heard about prepping, that's what she's started to do and is trying to get debit paid off, looking into long shelf life foods, getting defenses ready and trying to convince her husband to stock more ammo. I find it frightening that so many who don't follow the news often or follow the BC controversy are seeing something is wrong, very wrong.
