The ranchers should have a Show Of Force daily and at night. Shooting of firearms for proficiency, display and fun. Night shooting of spotlighted targets and the occasional coyote (4 legged) called in. If not a fire hazard, include tracers.
Their backdrop should always be the direction of the river to be sure that the sound carries towards the mexicans.
