Moderate ready for a good ZOT!
Posted on 08/04/2010 5:05:03 AM PDT by Lizzie in Boston
I love living in the United States and love political debates!
We had an important senate election here and I proudly chose Scott Brown for senate because Martha Coakley was totally clueless and incompetent.
I looked at both candidates for president carefully. John McCain is a true military hero and even worked across the aisle on McCain-Feingold, McCain-Lieberman and McCain-Kennedy. Thry were three very good bills. However, McCain is anti-choice, anti-gay and too pro-gun.
Barack Obama was short on experience, but I liked his postions on many issues except for the middle east and he's not agressive enough on the war on terror.
I chose President Obama at the end and while he's far from perfect, I'm pleased with my choice.
I love politics and can't wait to get into it! :-) I'm new so be nice while I get used to this site!

Y'know, I was really hoping for a moment Lizzie was for real. But it became real obvious real fast she was just a master baiter.

Cuts in public transit really hurt a place like Boston.Maybe, instead of getting other people to pay for your transit system, your local government should raise the fares. I don't ride your stinkin' transit. Don't even live in Boston. Why the he!! should I be paying for it through the tax dollars stolen from my paycheck each week?

Ah trolling for mean or inappropriate remarks so you can run back to the DU and post how mean FReepers are. Funny how you trolls always try and sound so middle of the road and harmless. Just go away you will not like or enjoy what is about to come and yes you will get some “mean” remarks to post at the DU or go running off to some government agency to complain.

Is this about the moderates who feel strongly both ways?
Or the moderates who are passionately undecided?

Lizzie’s love of “politics and ready to get into it” notion is very naive and hardly worthy of the time that I and others have spent in replying to her. I would suggest a cessation of replies to Lizzie in Boston or her unilateral withdrawal to Democratic Underground or other such place where she can post her “moderate” views for debate by those of her own sophomoric ilk.

You are right, Lizzie. We are not taking you seriously enough.
I'm going to introduce you to a FReeper who I just know you will get along with. He's bright, witty and
just your kind of guy!

The stupid liberals think they can control everyone’s behavior just by wishing it so. She (?) obviously doesn’t understand the concept of private property.
