This may have been posted from some other source and if so, I apologize.
The mohammedans are building a mosque at that particular spot for a very good reason. The purpose is not to launch a jihad against the US nor is it to be a bomb magnet nor is it to rub anything in our faces.
They have told us exactly why they are building that mosque there.
How?
Look at the name: Cordoba house.
A little history for those who may be slightly history-impaired. Cordoba, a beautiful town in southern Spain, was home to a caliphate in the Mohammedan's farthest incursion into Christian lands. It was a center of learning and "worship." Cordoba once held a vast library of holdings that they generated and stole from their other conquered territories (some say it held several hundreds of thousands of volumes...and if you consider that this was prior to the invention of the moveable type printing press...that is pretty impressive by any standard).
The name they gave it tells us all that we need to know. It will be a grand building crafted in the name of Allah (piss be unto him). It will be a center of learning and social goodness. In other words, it will be a showplace. A source from where the Mohammedans can peacefully conquer what remains of the Christian west. Jihad (by another fashion).
And the progressives are going to help them in this effort.
Being Muslim and conservative in the liberal haven of Washington D.C is never easy :)
That certainly cannot be easy....
Let alone here on FR....
You are as rare as a snow storm here on the prairie in August......
Thanks for your candor........
Amen!
Well, you may have a point...if a basic religious duty of white anglo-Christians is the eventual domination of the world, be it by the heart, tongue, hand, or sword (whatever Christians would call the jihad bil qalb, bil lisan, bil yad, or bil saif).
(Not to say that Christians don't believe in spreading the good news...but there's not been too much record of the "by the sword" technique...especially in the past 4-500 years)
Sorry, pal, the only example I can think of where Muslims and Christians lived well together was in Lebanon. And that sort of went by the wayside about 30 years ago, didn't it?
As have Iraq and elsewhere.
Nothing against you personally (since I do not know you personally), but you know when Ibrahim Hooper was opening up his trap and rationalizing terrorism? I didn't see anybody spout up against him and tell him he was full of it. (And, if on no other channel, Fox News would have loved that debate...but it didn't happen)
So, sorry...but Muslims (who I used to have a whole lot of respect for) lost a whole lot of credibility with me after that. (And I'm speaking as somebody who lived for three years in Muslim Turkey and loved it)
So it isn't anything personal against you...but excuse me for noticing something when I just happen to recognize that one of the key goals of your religion is for everybody to be Muslim (check) by whatever means necessary (uh-oh).
“2 blocks is practically another world”
R you serious? They could store explosives, biological warfare and who knows what else.
I am very sorry to hear that. I am so sorry also to hear how much worse it is now than then. As for the rest of the Christians who are native to the near and middle east.
“Construction is due to begin on September 11, 2011, the tenth anniversary of 9/11.
Is that not cynical as hell?
This deserves it’s own thread.
Thanks Mark, I did google caiphate afterwards.
