There seems to be a tactic used by many here and elsewhere to mock Sarah Palin as some kind of messiah figure because she has a lot of fans. This is not only wrong, this is disgusting.
Sarah Palin has never presented herself as an Obama type figure that wants to be seen as a savior. She has been polite and decent on the national stage. She has treated people around this country very good in her time on the national stage.
Yet, some people talk about her as an object or a piece of trash. We have someone around here who calls Sarah Palin "precious" and another person who calls her "Minnie Pearl".
I want some of those out there who mock her on a daily basis to stop and think... Sarah Palin is real human being. And how would Sarah Palin treat you ?
Here is a woman who never had to serve in government, she did by choice. She doesn't have to fight for our country on the national stage, she is doing so by choice. I don't think anyone can question how much Sarah Palin loves America. She loves our troops. She is one of us. She is right on the money with most of her positions on the issues. She sued the federal government so that we could have a right to drill in ANWR for goodness sake. How big of a help would that be to this country if we could use our own energy resources ?
So please, somebody tell. What did Sarah Palin do to be mocked ? What did Sarah Palin do to be mocked as a sock puppet on this site ? What did she do to deserve the hate ?
Again, Sarah Palin is a real person who is a patriot who loves and her country.

I can’t live an emotionless bump on a log piece of crap existance. There are guys my age who have no idea what congress is and what they do.
I would think you would want to encourage people in their 20s to be more politically informed and active

Good points. But nobody here is handing any nomination to her. We want her to earn it, fair and square and she wouldn’t have it any other way. I fully support Gov. Palin whether she runs in 2012 or not. She is consistently conservative and she isn’t afraid to stick her neck out and say what she believes. I have been waiting my whole life for a nationally-known conservative to stand up and say the things I have been saying on the local level.
For a private citizen she’s doing IT ALL for conservatism. And there is nothing you can do about it and your backseat critique is very weak, as in media weak. Their FEAR of her is obvious - even the media knows MORE than you!
Conservatives KNOW their own.

Problem with that is he makes statements wanting a real conservative hero like Phyllis Schafly to die. Why? Only because Phyllis is a woman who speaks her mind and doesn’t buy into BS. Schafly does not think Palin is ready.
No lady could be more for the family than Phyliss. All the do gooder harpies on here who wish to brand people who aren’t into the Palin phenomena at this moment, are cult worshippers and spinmeisters.
I guess support for LOST and global warming is another Palin stance swept under the rug. I suppose Palin was for them, but now she is against them, and that friends, is now acceptable if it is Palin.

Is there any evidence Palin has renounced her positions on LOST or carbon credits? I don’t know of any.
