I cannot imagine an opportunity for Chuck Schumer to pass up face time on C Span other than it is politically inconvenient.The real reason it was probably cancelled is the the Democrats were backed into a corner with a shot over the bow by the Scottish government that they would be pleased to release the 2 e mails that the US government had requested they not release in which the administration stated that they were opposed to his release but if he was released they preferred he be released in Scotland and not transferred to Libya.The Scottish Justice minister intimated that it appeared to them that the administration's objections to his release were "half hearted".This is the last thing the Democrats needed to have to explain away before a Congressional election
