Do we believe that Sherrod was called and told to pull over and resign and that the White House aided in her ouster, or do we believe what Vilsack said?
Given the aforementioned, we can see why the media is trying to spin this as being a case where Fox News website, Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck are to blame. But the lady who called Shirley Sherrod never mentioned Fox News website posting of Sherrod's speech or Bill O'Reilly as the reason for her ouster. The lady who called Shirley Sherrod mentioned Glenn Beck's airing of her speech as the reason for her ouster.
But Beck never aired her speech, and actually said that her firing was unjustified which is why the media is now trying to pin the blame on Fox News website or Bill O'Reilly. But, again, the lady who called her never mentioned them as being the reason for her ouster. And the White House was not concerned with what was on Fox News website nor were they concerened with Bill O'Reilly at the time. The White House was concerened with Glenn Beck.
Now the White House and the NAACP are saying that they were snookered by Fox News and Breitbart. But how could the White House & the NAACP have been snookered when the NAACP had the entire video at their disposal?
And where is the proof given by the media that Glenn Beck really intended to air Sherrod's speech?
Given that the media is still pounding away at this and keeps posting online news articles (displayed at Google News) I wonder just how they can continue to spin this as being the fault of Fox News website, O’Reilly or Glenn Beck.
In this case I believe Sherrod.
Oh, I’m not woried at all. And the media is spinning as fast as their wheels will let them - and all to no avail.
I see no reason to not believe that she wasn’t called and told those things, given that that info seems to be the first that came out on this.
The spin from the White House and others came later, and all to protect themselves from being seen as throwing her under the bus.
She didn’t have time to come up with a spin story and she was still quite mad at being blind-sided by the whole thing. If she had had time to think of ramifications wouldn’t she cover for her hero Barack? She got cold cocked with her own words and came up swinging and her first punches were at the ones who hit her first. The WH.
While listening to NPR's All Liberal Things Considered yesterday on my way home from work, I heard an interview with none other than Van Jones, who actually praised Beck for his position.
I was shocked, SHOCKED, at the tactic.
This entire episode show how scared this administration is of talk radio and Fox news for exposing their liberal / communist agenda.
in his case,I don’t believe either one
That I agree with. I don’t think Sherrod is half as whacky as the White House, or perhaps her own husband, but the WH was afraid they had just been outed ...again.
