Yeah, that was how I saw it, until I realized that as long as you’re assuming their argument before they even make it, that was actually the result of constant TV propaganda. There really aren’t that many people in America who think like that. The few are greatly amplified by media.
Even all the people who vote democrat, most do it for racialor other reasons, there are very few actual liberals though they dominate television & etc. Just look at all the surveys. People do not want to be called liberal. And yet if you watch TV, that’s all you see, and so yeah after a lot of consideration I came to that conclusion.
It’s like a general on the battlefield - make your enemy at least fight for themselves, don’t fight the battle for them.
You would be the top of the list you dolt.
You failed the test.
“Why only Saint Patricks Day. Why not Saints...”
There are days for many others, just not Irish, so no drunken celebrations to commemorate the day.
I really was just pointing out the irony;)
Noting that the English and Scottish US immigrants; who were just as plentiful as the Irish - saw no need to celebrate their patron saints.
But your reasoning makes more sense;)
I lived in Ireland 3 years, ‘78 - ‘81. There people go to church on St Patrick’s Day. This is true in both the Roman Catholic Church and in the Church of Ireland (Anglican). And I never saw any green beer while I was there :)
