You need to run apache or IIS on your home setup in order to “post” pics. Otherwise, you will need a photobucket or similar account to offset the lack of a webserver.

If you are using a PC, right click on the red box in your original post, and then click on "Properties" -- to see what the HTML code for your image is.
At least this will show the way that FreeRepublic's software translated whatever you actually posted.

It didn't work, so I am obviously missing something. The other comments to this post are amusing, and what I generally expect for putting up a "I am dumb" post..
