My sister sent me this and it is scrumptious. I add salt and white pepper.

Ingredients:
-Olive Oil, 1T
-Fresh sweet corn 6 good-size ears
-Shallots-sliced, 1
-Garlic cloves-sliced, 2
-Heavy Cream, 2 cups
-Garlic Chives-minced, 2T

1. Husk the corn.
2. Put shallots, garlic and HALF the corn in a saucepan over low heat for two minutes to soften.
3. Add the heavy cream and sloooowly simmer for 20 minutes.
4. Put in a blender and puree till smooth.
5. Put pureed corn into a sauce pot and add the remaining raw corn.
6. Cook sloooowly together for 30 minutes.
7. Add minced garlic chives and serve
