Don't you remember The fizz in a pepper Peanuts in a bottle At ten, two and four A fried bologna sandwich With mayo and tomato Sittin' round the table Don't happen much anymore

We got too complicated It's all way over-rated I like the old and out-dated Way of life

Back when a hoe was a hoe Coke was a coke And crack's what you were doing When you were cracking jokes Back when a screw was a screw The wind was all that blew And when you said I'm down with that Well it meant you had the flu I miss back when I miss back when I miss back when

I love my records Black, shiny vinyl Clicks and pops And white noise Man they sounded fine I had my favorite stations The ones that played them all Country, soul and rock-and-roll What happened to those times?

I'm readin' Street Slang For Dummies Cause they put pop in my country I want more for my money The way it was back then

Back when a hoe was a hoe Coke was a coke And crack's what you were doing When you were cracking jokes Back when a screw was a screw The wind was all that blew And when you said I'm down with that Well it meant you had the flu I miss back when I miss back when I miss back when

Give me a flat top for strumming I want the whole world to be humming Just keep it coming The way it was back then

Back when a hoe was a hoe Coke was a coke And crack's what you were doing When you were cracking jokes Back when a screw was a screw The wind was all that blew And when you said I'm down with that Well it meant you had the flu I miss back when I miss back when I miss back when

His Democratic Party and Obama sympathies certainly will not get those days or anything like them back for him.

There’s a new country song out. Something about “This house is protected by God and guns, and if you sneak around here you might meet them both”?

I will no more listen to one of his songs than a Dixie Chicks song. He is a proud 0bama supporter. If someone else sings it that might be different. This is war. Funding the enemy is the reason we are losing.

Tim McGraw is a sissy boy, and represents all that is wrong with male CW vocalists today.

David Allen Coe would kick his ass.

Hell...Gretchen Wilson would kick his ass.

I’d rather listen to a fat girl fart. At least that’s an honest noise.

I actually forgot he was a ObamaMaggot...my apologies as I bet he and his wife got caught up in the CBS-Corporate Leftist Media gig...

I also refuse to listen to Bono or Dave Matthews.

To my FReeper friends, my apologies.

Admin/Mod, please pull this thread.

Ditto what these other posters say-he is a Democrat, an Obama supporter, and a de facto endorser of Obama’s policies. There may be some patriotic Democrats out there, but until they specifically denounce these Marxist attempts to undermine everything good about this country (and that which is celebrated in McGraw’s song), I won’t have anything to do with them.

It’s just a rip-off of Merle Haggard’s classic ...

What about Kennny Chesney doing Corona Beer ads? How about little Garth Brooks cozying up to Obama, too?

I like the lyrics...and if I get one more crass comment, then I’ll be more embarrassed.

(Keep ‘em coming).

Hey, I heard Faith Hill uses a strap-on with Rogaine for Timmy-Boy.

"...He is a proud 0bama supporter..."

Worse, he has political aspirations of his own. He's probably just waiting until he's bled enough money out of uninformed country music fans to buy himself a Senate seat.

Didn’t he help the Nashville flood victims? I guess seeing him on the ABC, NBC, CNN and CBS networks should have tipped me off...

Commie Maggot with lots of Capitalist Cash.

You got to get out a little more. Tim and his beautiful but stupid wife Faith Hill are big time. I mean nation wide big time and have been up there for more than a few years now. Trouble is they are Obama loving Liberals who chose to go the Dixie Chick highway.

I didn’t know they were husseiners.

I cannot stand his music. I hate his redneck country twang.

His dad was a drunk but had better sense than Tim. He does have a hot wife, however.

They should shut up about their political views and perform. I hope folks start to boycott them.
