Levi Johnston to make music video debut -- riffing on Sarah Palin relationship

Levi Johnston may be getting married to Bristol Palin sometime soon, but he is still finding a way to potentially tick off Sarah. In a new music video, Levi (according to the Associated Press) will star as a man who faces scorn from his girlfriend's mother. The song for the video in question is Brittani Senser's "After Love".

So is Levi worried at all about what Sarah Palin would think about this gig? According to Us Magazine, Levi's attorney Rex Butler says that it's not really something that is on their radar:

"I don't think we're going to be concerned about what Gov. Palin would want. I think that given the script, he (Johnston) should be able to turn in a good performance."

Bristol Palin was born October 18, 1990. She was 17 years old at the time she became pregnant with Tripp. A parent doesn't control a seventeen year old. Parents can attempt to influence. Parents can try to instill values in their children. But each individual has free will to evaluate those taught values and from that, each individual makes their own choices. Bristol Palin made her own choice to have a baby.

I would be astonished if you were to claim that your own parents controlled you at seventeen years of age. To make such a claim would mean that your parents told you what to think and what to do and when and what to say at every possible moment when you were seventeen years of age until you were 19 going on 20.

And yes, some seventeen year old offspring can and do exhibit incredibly poor judgment and these children come from all walks of life. As a parent all one can do at best, is offer love, values and guidance.
