Bristol is a beautiful young woman; but she obviously is an idiot. Maybe she, too has resentments against her mother? Or maybe Bristol was simply destined to become trailer trash like Levi?
She obviously is an adolescent who is in the process of growing up and learning from past mistakes. In that context, all 'youngsters' are complete idiots.

Or like others her age and maturity level, she uses "I hate my mother" when trying to rationalize her behavior to her friends. Or maybe it's just a figment of your imagination.

No one is destined to become trailer trash.
Since I haven't heard that Bristol was doing drugs, or making sex films, then I don't think I can even consider the label 'trailer trash' as appropriate.
That she seems to be like the AVERAGE AMERICAN TEENAGER/WOMAN in the exact same aspects that are being discussed here, would be a positive thing. That she separated from Levi seemed to be the 'right thing'. Now that she might have reconsidered, who has a right to say what a woman's heart desires?
Bristol's fate will be determined by her choices (and here's hoping she has, or learns to listen to her mom), and not by teasers that the MEDIA banters back and forth about what they 'think' she is doing.
Water seeks its level. Perhaps Bristol will grow up someday.

Or maybe she is just young and in love with the father of her baby? At that age love can make people of both sexes do stupid things. You can really have pretty deep tinted rose colored glasses on when you are smitten with someone.
This so-called trailer trash has a job and already owns her own home..... she is not the first young woman to fall for the bad boy...... we all have to find our own way and learn from our own mistakes, I’m glad I didn’t have people like you judging me as a young woman..... and how wonderful that so many people here were perfect and never made one single mistake in life.
