I suggest reading Heart of the Sea: The Tragedy if the Whaleship Essex. It recounts the events that inspired Melville's writing of Moby Dick.

I noticed that. Suppose the owner is a Roger Moore fan?

That was a scene from the Will Smith movie, “Hancock”. Hancock (Smith) is a super-hero with a drinking problem and a bad public persona..............

Don’t pick on Teddy. He’s fermenting the daisies and can’t defend himself.

While the press was marking the 41st anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, there was also another anniversary this week...

Sturdy boat, lucky for the sailors.

My inspiration was the movie
Blue Demon where scientists create sharks that follow FORTRAN comands like "Go to", "Eat", and "No Eat".
Unfortunately, my whale got stuck on the lines of "Leap" and "CRUSH".

I think that Sharky’s relatives are causing trouble every day now... first on land, now in the water.

At least they can’t fly.
They’d get stuck in “Eat” mode, and aircraft would be in danger.
