Check out the link. Now I am beginning to wonder about that guy.
Pouting because you didn’t get a Mac for your middle school graduation?
I too use many Macs for my work, and I use my bootcamp into windows for exactly that: Games. Fallout 3 to be exact. LOL
Original Apple 2 (Franklin 2200) BASIC programmer.
Amazing. Incredibly good numbers.
3.47 million Macs! Up 33%
I am glad to report that I contributed to that 33% increase of the Mac. The Mac is the best experience I have ever had with a computer, and I have owned quite a few.
You appear to have a suspiciously oversensitive gaydar.
I bet they shave their legs or wear pantyhose, or both.
PING
I can't believe the saps that still fall for that one....
LOL... Don’t know, don’t want to know. LOL
We have a traitor in the White House but it is refreshing to see that somethings do not change.
There has been a continuous nine years of dimwits continuing to bash Apple on FR.
Thank goodness for the comic relief.
I’m not sure that he didn’t change his profile to look like that, just for a laugh. I’ve seen that done.
I don’t care to be his pen-pal, but I would not have wanted him to have been banned over his chat with me.
I must have missed something. I never saw any animations. Can you point me to them?
Just had to get that out there because it is such a ridiculous statement and the logical extension of what Apple-bashers would like us to believe.
First of all, how do women feel that the biggest insult a man can make of another man is that he is feminine or girlish? Imagine how men would feel if women went around calling other women masculine and boyish as if that was such a terrible thing to be?
Actually I don't think men would just laugh at that and move on because we don't really care what other people think. At least, those of us who are real men.
So come full circle to this whole Apple thing. Yes, it is true that a lot of Apple consumers are full-fledged girly men who vote for Al Gore and actually think "global warming" is something to worry about.
However, Apple does make some very fine products and many conservatives own and use them.
After all, would it be better if "Apple" was actually some Japanese company like Sony or Hitachi? We should be glad that the company making the very best computer/consumer electronics products is headquartered right here in the USA.
Do not cede superior electronics goods to the liberals. How it must dismay the liberals to see Apple be so capitalistic! How it must dismay the liberals to see so many conservatives buying products that they believe belongs only to them?
You should see the dirty looks I get as I pull my car plastered with Republican and NRA bumper stickers into a Starbucks or Whole Foods parking lot! Yes, I will confidently stride into a Starbucks and order my triple latte with confidence that Ronald Reagan was the best president the United States ever had. And yes, I will go into the Whole Foods to buy their overpriced blackberries, salmon fillets and Brown Cow yogurt with a T-Shirt that shows George Bush with the caption "Miss Me Yet?"
Good stuff. I like to rile up the liberals in this manner. Even though Sirius radio has a station dedicated to Bruce Springsteen, I know that I have the Elvis channel to counter with. And then there is Outlaw Country on channel 63 to really rile the liberals up with.
Apple. Good products. I have Ronald Reagan speeches loaded on my iPod. How do you like them apples?
Then you might like this story. I do a little local internet paper for a politically active Republican couple down the street. He is 81 and she is 79. She was a reporter and does the writing, I do the tech and graphic stuff. Couple weeks ago they bought an HP printer. Immediately, when turning on their Windows machine, they got a prompt that a program was installing itself. It would take 15 minutes to get out of that thing. The problem was HP sent two disks--one for Windows 7 and one for XP. But HP made a mistake and put Windows 7 on both disks. They didn't know what the problem was and it took me a while to figure out (they hadn't mentioned the new printer software). Their son, who is out of state, had been watching them struggle with that and other problems. He told them to ask me what Mac to buy. I sent them a link to an Imac at Amazon. They sent it to him and five days later an Imac arrived on their doorstep. Gave them a few lessons and in a week they could do more on the Imac than they had learned in years to do on a Windows machine.
Indeed.
I’m glad I hadn’t seen that earlier, I know I would have used it in our little chat. ;>)
Excellent.
When it come to computers, I am dumber than a stump... and I like it that way. ;>)
I am 61 and have had more computers than I care to remember. I had problems with each of them and I found it very frustrating. I still have two PC’s and a laptop, but I seldom bother to light them up.
About 2 years ago I broke down and bought a 27” iMac OS X, version 10.5.8 with memory of 4GB 800 MHz DDR2 5DRAM and Processor of 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. I also bought the gizmo (Time Capsule) that can backup the entire machine automatically.
The only problem I have had was with the mouse... I went through 3 of them and Apple didn’t hesitate to replace them. I now have a new and improved mouse that they gave me and it’s seems to be bullet proof.
No shutdowns... no constant fixes and required upgrades, no viruses, no hanging screens... no, no, no. I flat love this computer and I doubt that I will ever use anything else. iMac has been a very good experience... I have no regrets.
