In this video we see a protective mother deer beat up a dog and scare the hell out of a relentlessly curious and foolhardy cat. It's pretty disturbing, but I am glad I watched it.
Deer often come into our back yard, and if my kids saw a fawn, they'd probably run over and try to cuddle with it.

Don’t mess with mama deer! Thanks for posting...
I’ve never seen it. Awesome video.
First time I’ve seen it. Great video!
Interesting. From the deer’s point of view both cat and dog are predators. Deer are wild animals and don’t get “pets.” The mother’s reaction is totally understandable.
Ah, so that’s how they fight dogs. I wondered about that.

I take it that is bad in your view.
A wood rat probably looking for someone’s roses to eat and dropped a fawn in the process.
JimRob prefers we don’t.
Perhaps you searched and didn’t discover the other postings. Search doesn’t always function right.
Still, it’s better for the system to avoid duplicate threads. Even if it were just to support a preference of Jim’s, that would be sufficient reason, to me.
I thought the hysterical human was . . . a bit too . . . something.
The deer’s response were reasonable. So were the dog’s.
Maybe the dog could have been trained to come on command or STAY better. I don’t know.
The cat was . . . incredibly like a cat . . . dumb cat. How many times bigger was the deer? Sheesh [ducking]
If it’s got spots it’s camp meat!
That cat was REALLY curious....and the dog....wasn’t even really close....however, now I know why an inspector for our new home told me to watch out for the deer in our neighborhood....said some of the bucks might attack me....
“JimRob prefers we dont.”
I believe JimRob can speak for himself.
He has.
Repeatedly.
YEAH!!
OMG SO DISTURBING!!!!! How that stupid woman just stood there yelling is beyond me. SHe could of least scared it away.....jesus...
