Seriously, in 1988 I was diagnosed with MS.
I made a bucket list and did everything on the list.
My most important was to see Ray Charles sing America.
I had my seven year old with me and told her to always remember seeing him, she does. She is 33 now.

I had a tough few days this past week. My daughter's class is having its 20th anniversary this month. I found out that the couple across the street had gone to school with her and graduated with her. Janice loved her high school and had helped with the 10th reunion. Made me real sad knowing that she would not be here this year. Am ok now though. Was talking to my other daughter about this and told her it was so unexpected that it got to me. She had been having a tough time too since her daddy had died on 8 July 2006. God is good all of the time.

climbed almost to Camp Muir on Mt Rainier (8500 ft)
climbed to the top of several other peaks in the Cascades
done white water rafting
had a tryout with the Pittsburg Pirates
do puppet shows
ridden the STP(200 mile bike ride)
snorkled in the Keys
paraglided
sang with Davey Jones of the Monkees
cruised to Alaska
sailed a boat
driven 130+ MPH in a car
driven 110+ MPH on a motorcycle
been to the top of the Empire State Building
watched my wife sing at Carnegie Hall
held my grandson on Christmas day (born premature and I couldn’t hold him when he was born)
watched my daughter being born
preached lots of sermons
had my stories printed
swam in shark infested waters (without a cage)
stared down a gun pointed at my face

I could go on, but you get my drift :>)

While I’d dearly love to watch my kids grow up & older, and spend all of my life with my shorter, cuter half, over all else, I want to make my way straight with My Lord. I have some work to do, there.
