Vanities...Getting Married or know someone who is?
July 2010 | vanity

Curious.

We have had 4 ladies (in our small careprovider service) of various ages in our remote PNWw area announce they are getting married.

One of our most effeciant fellow work persons is not going to "I do" but be in the "wedding party" (so that would make 5 weddings)

All these folks have kindly invited our Family..

They all work really close with us.

So I thought. Coincidence?

Which led me to think "I will do a FR vanity"

We really do live in a remote part of the USA.

So can anyone chime in if they have perhaps seen a surnge of folks commiting to the "I Do, I Do"?

Curious on the PNW Coast.

Here is the link to the site and a cut and paste. Please read the entire site, not just the “Daily Movement” page.

I don’t know how to copy the graphic, but that is where the 85 k figure came from.

http://gsc.nrcan.gc.ca/geomag/nmp/daily_mvt_nmp_e.php

Geological Survey of Canada
Geomagnetism
Daily Movement of the North Magnetic Pole
It is important to realize that the position of the North Magnetic Pole given for a particular year is an average position. The Magnetic Pole wanders daily around this average position and, on days when the magnetic field is disturbed, may be displaced by 80 km or more. Although the North Magnetic Pole’s motion on any given day is irregular, the average path forms a well-defined oval. The diagram shows the average path on disturbed days.

The cause of the North Magnetic Pole’s diurnal motion is quite different than that of its secular motion. If we measure the Earth’s magnetic field continually, such as is done at a magnetic observatory, we will see that it changes during the course of a day - sometimes slowly, sometimes rapidly. The ultimate cause of these fluctuations is the Sun. The Sun constantly emits charged particles that, on encountering the Earth’s magnetic field, cause electric currents to flow in the ionosphere and magnetosphere. These electric currents disturb the magnetic field, resulting in a temporary shift in the North Magnetic Pole’s position. The size and direction of this shift varies with time, in step with the magnetic field fluctuations. Since such fluctuations occur constantly, the Magnetic Pole is seldom to be found at its “official” position, which is the position in the absence of magnetic field fluctuations.

Sorry... Just found out that when you hit on “New Posts to You” and then hit reply to the last post to you, it puts your post in the last link you had open, not the source in the “New Posts to You” source...

All of those involved are working and going to school (trade and the Medical field) or buying businesses.

Over all State wide our unemployement rates have for the last 25yrs (that I have been around) have been really high.

We have been blessed with great employees.
(ya get what you pay for and the contract jobs we use are fair honest bids)

I’ve known of people who go in for looking for cheap deals and they end up paying huge rates or get cruddy work done.

I use a temp. service and that Gal is a firecracker at HR.

When KV was in elementary school (decades ago) the Aide he had is going to be the Mother n Law to one of our employees.
Small community.

One of the employees for our grounds keeping service is going to be on the logging crew that is coming out today and that crew is also contracted by the county road service for tree trimming/elimination.

Easily can connect all the dots. : )
