Lindsay Lohan has reportedly checked into a Los Angeles rehab facility, the week before she is due to turn herself in to begin serving a 90-day jail sentence.

So?? She’s been there before and it had no impact. I suspect that this is more about trying to get the judge to relent on her 90 day (which will probably be more like 4 day) jail sentence.
For the sake of Lindsay’s life, she needs to do the time. She has spiraled out of control and is going to self-destruct otherwise.
She’s a trisexual, if it’s sexual, she’ll “tri” it.
On the flip-side, I've known substance abusers who gave it up without rehab whatsoever. Sometimes just growing older (and experiencing the really, really bad hangovers that come with age) was enough to cause people to re-evaluate their bad habits.
I hope and pray this helps her. I feel for her, I have a little red headed girl, and I look at her precious face and then I look at Lohan, and my heart breaks. Her parents really fail her.
Interestingly, my little red head was approached to audition for a DisneyChannel show. I handed back the card, no way in hell my little girl’s going down that path.
I bet the judge drags her out and puts her in a cell if she does not show up!
I don’t care.
Seems like a smart plan, to detox before going to jail. It’s good someone is thinking for Lindsay. Let the few days she is doing now count towards the time she will do in treatment after she does her 90 days.
A few 90 day stints in jail, and Lindsay really will know what it means to be a bad girl.
So does this mean that she is still obliged to check into jail on Tuesday?

Rehab only has two purposes - Detox and introduction to the appropriate 12-Step program. Once detoxed, anything beyond a 12 Step program is expensive window dressing. As another post said, it’s a program of willingness. You have to WANT to recover.

But, the prosecuter has said there isn’t a chance she won’t go to jail. She will have to do rehab after jail time.

That’s how I read it. The lawyer is trying to work a deal, but is getting told jail is done deal. After the jail time, she was given treatment time, so maybe they can work a deal on the latter.

I don't think you can. There is no such software.
She was probably standing behind a piece of very clear glass with those words painted on it.
In other words: You can lead a whore to culture, but you can’t make her think.
