Lucas IS the Evil Emperor. I am so sick of Lucas’ meglomaniacal attitude toward all of the people that made him what he is; including those of us that have spent our pittance on his eye candy.
People cannot even use the word “droid” without having to pay him for it. Just because he shortened the word android (as if no one else has ever done that)and used it in his movies; now he owns the word and no one better use it unless they pay him or expect the wrath of the Emperor.
He even sent his lawyer minions to an asian company that has created a powerful blue laser pointer that possibly could look like a light saber if you choose to see it that way. It’s not a knock-off or replica... just sort of resembles it.
I am also sick of him soaking us with endless re-releases. “Ooooh I put in an extra alien here and there and totally ruined the end of Jedi; now you all have to buy the set again! Muahahahaha!”
Last year I banned anything to do with him from my home for one year- no Star Wars, even shows that talked about Star Wars, Lucas or anything about him. I was actually suprised at how hard it was to avoid Lucas-related things. But it was worth it to me. I may have been a single small rebel against his empire, but it still made me feel better.
Sorry for the rant.
