Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston reveal exclusively in the new Us Weekly that they are getting married.
And, they tell Us Weekly, former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin has been kept in the dark about their plans ... until now.
"We got engaged two weeks ago," Bristol, 19, tells Us Weekly. "It felt right, even though we don’t have the approval of our parents."

Bristol still has some lessons to learn. About the time her mother’s presidential campaign starts gaining serious momentum, Levi will be back to his old antics.
Exceptionally poor judgment on Bristol’s part, IMO. That said, I truly hope Mr. Johnston proves me wrong.

This is a family matter and, really, none of our business. We are inundated with societal busybodies inserting themselves in our daily lives, telling us what we should or shouldn’t be doing. We conservatives don’t have to join that mob...
If Levi’s for real, and they get back together and have a long and happy marriage after all this, God bless them.
If he turns douche again...well, if he’s ever inclined to, he should keep in mind that Sarah and Todd and Track can field-dress fish and game.
Who tells a celebrity magazine of their engagement before their own parents? Seriously, who does that? It is inconsiderate and disrespectful! That being said, I wish them happiness.

Children sometimes live to be embarresments to their parents.
In the case the media is nothing but all to happy to encourage and accomodate them. The couple are such tools.

I’ll be honest.
Bristol’s lack of maturity makes me question Sarah’s ability to lead our nation.
If Sarah can’t govern her own household, then how can she govern our country in the sorry shape it’s in?
Her daughter is exhibiting a tremendous amount of immaturity for her age, *especially* when you consider her upbringing (the moral lifestyle Todd and Sarah project). If the Palin household is as grounded as they appear, then why would Bristol show this level of immaturity?
I like Sarah Palin (quite a bit), so I will wait and see how she (and Todd) handle this over the months and years ahead. However, I am seriously concerned because Bristol’s behavior is a reflection of her parenting/upbringing (basically “leading”) by Todd and Sarah.

So basically they said “this kid is a douche but she is an adult and there is nothing we can do about it” in the nicest way possible.
That’s the Jessie James tattoo. Jessie and Levi seem like to guys who would really get along - although, Jessie was able to build a fortune out of nothing, and I’m not sure Levi can even buy his own lunch.
