"Serious question...does a rabbit “scream?”

They do and they also have a like sound that sounds like a dog bark.

My daughter had a pet rabbit named Charmin who used to follow her around the yard like a little dog & play hide & seek with her. When he found where she was hiding - he would do that little bark,

If they are raised from babies & have a lot of interaction with humans - they are very tame & very smart.

The story says:

Although Nixon WAS NOT HURT in this situation

Nixon was the pet-owner. George was the bunny.

They certainly do when a fox nabs them.
I had never heard a rabbit make a noise until I saw that.

You see a bunny with a sulky cart attachment. Smokey sees a meal on wheels. Sad but true.

My Labrador ate the prosciutto I was planning on having for an appetizer last evening. Turned my back for 30 seconds, he took it right off the counter. Left the melon totally unmolested.

If I read correctly, Nixon was the owner’s last name.

No problem—it happens. It would have been nice had he managed to get away. Guess not much hope when you are a disabled bunny in the mouth of a bear.

I hope nobody tells jokes, or even SMILES when reading this story. It is a very serious and sad story. Especially for George.

Seems likes jokes were told. Smiles were formed. I think George would have wanted it this way.

My jack russell killed a woodchuck this morning and we’re both very proud.

A woodchuck is big game to a dog the size of a Jack Russell. I was going to chase the rodent off before the dog got hurt but it was over before the chuck knew what hit him.

I don’t know what I would do in that situation if a pet of mine was involved, but chasing down a hungry bear doesn’t seem like a bright idea to me.

That bear market is worth watching especially with an angry woman hot on its trail!
