Ever see Family Films of Trigger? That was one smart horse. He knew he was funny.

I’ve always wanted a stuffed horse for the rumpus room.

The family has to
sell off everything to pay the inheritance taxes.
All property rightfully belongs to the federal government.

As a side note, Trigger is the horse that Olivia de Havilland rode as Maid Marion in the movie “Robin Hood” with Errol Flynn.

When I was probably around five years old I was *soooo* in love with Roy Rogers that I made a promise to myself that I was going to grow up and marry him one day. Oh, the horror to discover that Dale Evans had already beat me to it!!

Too bad this stuff is offered for sale.
I stopped by the museum once when it was in Victorville, CA. The museum was a celebration of Americana circa 1950s, when life seemed less complicated.

If I recall correctly, this sale has to happen because of the Federal Ghoul Tax.

It’d be nice if the Smithsonian would purchase it.

For some reason, whenever I see anything about Roy Rogers, I think of an old Frank and Ernest Sunday comic strip:
Roy had left his recently purchased boots outside on the front stoop one evening and awoke to find them mangled with incriminating mountain lion paw prints leading off into the desert. Roy mounts Trigger and rides off in pursuit. He comes back with the dead mountain lion laying across Trigger's back.
Upon seeing Roy's successful return, Dale asks, "Pardon me, Roy. Is that the cat that chewed your new shoes?"

A smart man would buy Trigger and put the stuffed animal in a casino in Vegas next to the tomb of Michael Jackson.

Speaking of which, how much of Red Ted Kennedy’s estate went to inheritance taxes?

The museum was a celebration of Americana circa 1950s, when life seemed less complicated. All traces of 20th century Americana are being eradicated.
The music industry is in shambles after decades of cronyism dictating public taste.
The movie industry openly slags this country ("Truth Justice and all that stuff" in a Superman movie) to appease foreign markets.
Burgers are now verbotten.
Cars have no identity.
Car culture (cruising and roadtrips and drive-throughs) are "KILLING THE PLANET".
Levis and other American mainstays are now foreign produced crap.
And our political elections are now ridiculed as "stolen" every cycle the Rats lose. Stolen by "Banana Republicans".
The Saudis are buying shares of influence in our media outlets (supressing books, movies, and news reports they disapprove of).
This nation is being forced into second world status from within.

I never saw the body, it could be like L.Ron Hubbard, he may have died of tax evasion.

That's where I think I saw stuffed Trigger as a pretty young kid.
