Only for basketball fans out there...
Two time NBA MVP, Lebron James just announced it on ESPN NEWS that he will be signing with the Miami Heat.
The Heat will now be loaded with 3 superstars who have played together in the Olympics (where the USA won Gold ) -- Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh and Lebron James.
DISCUSS !!
“Discuss”.
What is this, a blue book test in a bunny course in college?
Did anyone notice during the announcement show tonight, LeBron had the words “F U CAVS” scrawled on his fingernail?
This whole ridiculous circus is an embarrassment for the NBA.
“He generated so much revenue for the economny of northestern Ohio that you cant call him overpaid. And hes taking less money to play there.”
LOL tell me about less!!!!!! They are all over paid!
I was at that game, too. When denver kicked the fg to end the game it got 30 degrees colder and quiet as a funeral, but... I will go to my grave KNOWING that I saw the ball go wide left. I'm wondering how you remember it.
One thing that amused me about this was that John Salley (a former NBA player and huge liberal) was on CNN and he said Lebron will have beaches and no state income tax to pay. I found liberals to be rather amusing on this tax issue. On the one hand that lament how rich people dont pay enough in taxes but then when they make $$$$ they immediatley do all they can to avoid taxes like move top Florida to avoid income taxes. Just another example of liberal hypocrocy.
Hey, I was at The Drive game with my sister. Screw Rich Karliss. There ain’t a snowball’s chance in hell that FG was good.
However, this statement tonight from the Cavs owner was the most awesome thing I’ve heard in years. Couldn’t believe this came from the owner of a team. LOL

So says the fellow who posts on a golf thread. LOL
One man's bread and circus is another man's honorable pastime. If taken in moderation and perspective both golf and basketball and pleasant diversions for those who happen to enjoy them.
ESPN is just a cog in the Disney empire.
You have got to read Gilbert’s letter, it is a slam dunk, grand slam plain and simple. What LeBoob did with production was an effing joke and is proof positive he only cared about himself.
Anyone that thinks Gilbert crossed the line tonight, to wit....
It was Dan Gilbert who allowed his posse to run rampant and give them loads of rope to appease LBJ.....
It was Dan Gilbert who consulted with him before major transactions were made and to get the players he begged for to make a championship run. And don’t forget, when he signed only a 3 year extension, that limited the team in the moves it COULD make....
It was Dan Gilbert who fixed and updated the Q and make it a facility players can enjoy. And he built the practice court in Independence, 15 minutes away from LBJ’s house where he could have just kept using the court inside the Q.
It was Dan Gilbert who fired Paul Silas, Mike Brown and allowed Danny Ferry to leave after again consulting with the narcissistic self-promoter.....
And then LeStupid does this this quickly instead of in a couple of weeks to give the team and new coach Bryon Scott a chance to improve the roster??
No, no. It’s all on him!
BRAVO DAN, BRAVO!!!
Well said, my brother!!
I do not have TV. I cancelled a year ago. Any golf I watch is streaming. Keep supporting Obama with the NFL, NBA, NCAA, and ESPN or any network. The 5 networks own 95% of the channels.
Golf was a little different because the game is based on civil behavior, rules and they do not have felons playing the game.

ESPN Radio's Colin Cowherd also mentioned the NBA is a winter league and as such why would you want to travel around during the cold northeast winters much of the time when you can play in generally sunny and warm Miami in January through March?
And a HUGE one at that. It is by far the biggest profit center for the Walt Disney Company, and if it wishes to ESPN could literally become involved in the broadcast of every major sporting event with worldwide appeal on Earth.
Yawn, the NBA is still in existence? I lost interest after Pistol Pete retired
