Two time NBA MVP, Lebron James just announced it on ESPN NEWS that he will be signing with the Miami Heat.
The Heat will now be loaded with 3 superstars who have played together in the Olympics (where the USA won Gold ) -- Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh and Lebron James.

Because they’re both old LOL. No, seriously their experience in the playoffs will pay dividends for them. But gosh...I’m thinking what happens if it really is Miami vs Boston for the Christmas game.
They are actually taking less money to play together.
When this is big news, it is a sign of a dead news week and I support the Boston Celtics.
Look for the Celtics to show Miami WHOSE in charge!
I don’t have any problem with him leaving. Fans think players really care about them. I learned long ago that is generally not the case. I went from being a big time baseball fan and a season ticker holder of two seats for an NFL team to not attending or watching or listening to pro sports at all. I don’t care for most of the players and their ethics and life styles. I find little to admire other than their athletic ability, but I am not impressed with the way they handle that ability.
So I don’t care if LeBron really is now a title chaser. I would not begrudge him the ability to play for a title winning team and to be a part of it. I just won’t be watching or paying any of his salary. I have never watched him play a full game so far and feel no need to do so. People tell me he is a great player. I believe them.
I hope some day he marries the mother of his child or at least someone to act as a mother. I hope he keeps working on handling his own crazy mother.
Meanwhile, I’ve got my own life to live and it keeps me too busy to watch LeBron or any other NBA, NFL, etc. players.
Same pretty much goes for Hollywood, too.
I think it will be that for Christmas, LA has peaked, downhill after that.

Actually, it’s a sign that the media wants us to not focus on things like -— Eric Holder’s non-prosecution of the voter intimidating Black Panther, or Obama’s recess appointment of a Healthcare Czar who believes in rationing 1/7 of our economy.
Other than the conservative sites and Fox News, I don’t see the above news being given the time of day anywhere in the mainstream media.
But Lebron James and Lindsay Lohan ?? Now that’s news for them. “All the News that’s UNFIT to print” /s
As for me, I have a life. I don’t want my time dominated by too much Obama, Pelosi or Democrats. Up to a point, you can only take so much foolishness for one day. That’s why I switch to trifling things like Entertainment or the NBA.

He generated so much revenue for the economny of northestern Ohio that you can’t call him overpaid. And he’s taking less money to play there.

It is not clear they are taking less net money. The cap ended up being 2 million a year above what was expected. Florida does not have a state income tax which saves them each about $10-$12 million over the contract compared to NY.
