Is the Pope a Catholic?
Does a bear sh*t in the woods?
Is Stroker on course to be the DUMBEST president ever?
He was Al (The assaulter) Gore’s campaign manager in 1988!! What does that tell you?
Maybe he is unaware that Republican dominance in Texas is due to the GOP routinely winning over 70% of the white vote, not their doing a little better with Hispanics than Republicans do in California.
Perry is a shameless political panderer with few core principles.
He successfully and convincingly tacked to the right to beat KBH in the primary.
Then he wasted no time veering back to the squishy middle and began pandering for the Mexican vote with an eye toward the general election.
I’ll vote for him in November, but not with pleasure — only because he’s DEFINITELY the lesser of the evils.
“I have posted this on Gov. Perry’s web site tonight. I’m betting I won’t get a response to this. I’m also wondering if the Trans Texas Corridor is a s dead as TxDOT claims it is.”
To seriously answer you question, Yes, Perry IS a RINO. He is a RINO that has his sights set on a possible Presidential run in 2012.
As it sits right now, I am almost tempted to vote for Howdy Doodie (bill white) in November, just to be shut of Goodhair and his RAT roots.
Eff the party. Vote for the CONSERVATIVE/CONSTITUTIONALIST.
Given that you voted in ‘64, you’re my elder, but I’ve never voted for a democrat and I intend to die with that perfect voting record.
If you vote for a dem, you are a fool. I support the AZ law, but it’s hardly a litmus test. This mid year election is important, as this will effect re-apportionment.
Also, if dems win some, it will only embolden them to push for more lib policies. Lastly, Perry is far more conservative than any dem.
I sat out KBH in 2006 general election.
He is an Open borders rino like marco rubio the faux T-party candidate. Crist is a drag queen.
The latest leftie word on the net is....
he has attributed the BP oil spill to ‘an act of God’.
If he’s not a RINO, and if indeed he did say that...
he’s at least a RINO-in-training moron.
Still, he is a better choice than Bill “I’m not really white” White.
Just wondering.
- Perry tried to make Gardisil mandatory for all school girls in Texas
- Perry was one of the first governors to jump all over the Supreme Court’s eminent domain decision and to start seizing land for his highway from Mexico. (The TTC) Farms that had been in families for generations have been swept up by Perry.
- Perry has been lazy as h*ell concerning securing our border (an issue he ran on, BTW)
- Perry reneged on his promise not to take the stimulous money
- Perry promised to give us a break with property taxes, but we’re still being crushed.
- Here’s another one: “The Ismaili Muslim community announced Tuesday that it is building a $6.5 million worship and community center in Plano, Texas, where it has found a warm welcome. Idiot GOP Gov Rick Perry (RINO-RX) flew in to lay the first ceremonial brick for the center’s foundation.”
- Perry has spoken out against Arizona’s immigration law and agreed with the feds that immigration is that fed’s responsibility.

- Perry was a Democrat until 1982 and was Gore’s Texas campaign chairman in 1988. (Now who knew *that*?)
I don’t know what the heck to do this fall.
The reason Perry says he’s against Arizona’s law is he’s afraid that he’ll lose to many votes in his bid for governor. I think he ultimately wants to run for president. He’s laying the ground work.
Regardless, He’s bowing to the system instead of standing up for what the majority of Americans/Texans want! I know many Texans of mexican decent who like the Arizona law. Ultimately, and somewhat sadly, he is our ONLY choice. Bill White would certainly screw us by giving BHO a bj anytime he asked.
At least Perry will stand up to Obozo!
He’s not a cnservative.
However, KBH was worse and Medina was a Truther.
And yes in this instance you should vote for him. We need him for re-districting. I wouldn’t care if it were California (Whitman can lose far as I’m concerned) but we aren’t going to win national elections without Texas.
He has Romney's hair, Bush's history of governorship of Texas and a belief that government "needs to work better" as opposed to government needs to provide security and rule of law and get the F@#k out of the way.
Do you have a good source that he opposes this? I found one Examiner (ie Blog) article that the author claimed they were contacted by Perry’s camp they were ‘open’ to moving a governor’s convention to another State. However, Examiner articles are notoriously unreliable as they basically are pay-per-click blogs.
