So answer this questions for me. This Spring I voted for what I thought was a Conservative Republican for Governor of Texas. Now I find out that Gov. Perry has joined the Democratic Governors of California, New Mexico, and some governors of Mexico in opposing Arizona's SB1070 I cannot decide whether to vote for a Rino or a Democrat who is not afraid of his political affiliations. Since I haven't voted for a Democrat since 1964, should I just not vote for anyone this fall?
I’ll see your “COMPANY B - 2/501st Infantry (101st AIRBORNE)
69-70”.
Echo Battery, 2nd Bn, 10th Marines, 2nd MarDiv 69-70.
Oooorah!
Did you see a polar bear and/or most importantly .. Did you see one $#itting in the woods?
(Were there any woods?) LOL
Didn’t see any polar bears at all. We did see a brown bear, though. It was on the side of the road about 1/4 mile in front of us. Went back into the woods and didn’t see it again.
Just outside of Juneau.
Welcome home brother and .. Oooorah! Back at ya!
Pliny
I don't believe that we have one of those running in Texas this year.
F- it. I think I'll just write someone in.
The latest leftie word on the net is....
he has attributed the BP oil spill to ‘an act of God’.
If he’s not a RINO, and if indeed he did say that...
he’s at least a RINO-in-training moron.
Still, he is a better choice than Bill “I’m not really white” White.
Just wondering.
White is too hard left.
It is like when the Dems ran Hanoi John Kerry in 2004 and caused military independant voters to throw weight behind Bush, who should have been a one termer.
If Perry were as bad as McCain there might be some merit there, but, as much as he disgusts me he is only a crook, not a hard line socialist.
- Perry tried to make Gardisil mandatory for all school girls in Texas
- Perry was one of the first governors to jump all over the Supreme Court’s eminent domain decision and to start seizing land for his highway from Mexico. (The TTC) Farms that had been in families for generations have been swept up by Perry.
- Perry has been lazy as h*ell concerning securing our border (an issue he ran on, BTW)
- Perry reneged on his promise not to take the stimulous money
- Perry promised to give us a break with property taxes, but we’re still being crushed.
- Here’s another one: “The Ismaili Muslim community announced Tuesday that it is building a $6.5 million worship and community center in Plano, Texas, where it has found a warm welcome. Idiot GOP Gov Rick Perry (RINO-RX) flew in to lay the first ceremonial brick for the center’s foundation.”
- Perry has spoken out against Arizona’s immigration law and agreed with the feds that immigration is that fed’s responsibility.

- Perry was a Democrat until 1982 and was Gore’s Texas campaign chairman in 1988. (Now who knew *that*?)
I don’t know what the heck to do this fall.
Welcome Home to you, too.
I see where the “Three Soldiers” memorial has been restored and unveiled today.
How cool is that?
The reason Perry says he’s against Arizona’s law is he’s afraid that he’ll lose to many votes in his bid for governor. I think he ultimately wants to run for president. He’s laying the ground work.
Regardless, He’s bowing to the system instead of standing up for what the majority of Americans/Texans want! I know many Texans of mexican decent who like the Arizona law. Ultimately, and somewhat sadly, he is our ONLY choice. Bill White would certainly screw us by giving BHO a bj anytime he asked.
At least Perry will stand up to Obozo!
He has to be better than “Howdy Doody” White, even if he isn’t as conservative as I’d like! Can you imagine “Howdy Doody” whipping out a pistol and taking out a coyote while jogging? Didn’t think you could.
He’s not a cnservative.
However, KBH was worse and Medina was a Truther.
And yes in this instance you should vote for him. We need him for re-districting. I wouldn’t care if it were California (Whitman can lose far as I’m concerned) but we aren’t going to win national elections without Texas.
He has Romney's hair, Bush's history of governorship of Texas and a belief that government "needs to work better" as opposed to government needs to provide security and rule of law and get the F@#k out of the way.
It’s a shame.
The GOP is going to play the PC game until they are completely destroyed, a has-been organization.
They’ll have no one to blame but themselves.
Do you have a good source that he opposes this? I found one Examiner (ie Blog) article that the author claimed they were contacted by Perry’s camp they were ‘open’ to moving a governor’s convention to another State. However, Examiner articles are notoriously unreliable as they basically are pay-per-click blogs.
>> He has to be better than Howdy Doody White
Whenever I see White, I think “Ann Richards with a sex change”. I just can’t help it. He’s a smug, smartassed populist tax and spend pure-D ‘rat, just like Annie was.
Already his lame teevee ad makes me want to throw things and power hurl.
Perry’s a windsock. He better be planning for a new gig after this election, because it will be his LAST.
Unless he has a HUGE defining moment..... such as coming out in TOTAL and UNWAVERING support of AZ and SB1070.
But you know that is unlikely.
