Put yourself in the position of running a 'safehouse' for COTU...... and then, from that perspective, decide what you really feel & think about Kyron's safety when you see Tony give Kaine a big bear hug, or watch Desi & Kaine noticably eye oneanother to silently agree on how to answer questions at some of those "cozy" press conferences, where all the journalists HAD to have been VETTED by Kaine, agree to be "team players" and to NOT ever report on anything whatsoever, "off the record."

IF Kyron is alive, IF Kyron is "stashed" - well, at age 7, Kyron is more than old enough to tell his caregivers all about himself and his school and homelife.

In answer, YES, I actually believe that LEOs and the bio-parents KNOW that Kyron is alive...... somewhere. OR at the very least, they knew he was alive that first week, and expected to find him within days.

So...... screw the public, don't tell them anything!! AND....... don't allow the press in, UNLESS they will only report what you instruct them.

SERIOUSLY, sodpoodle, if there are adults who believe they are protecting Kyron from his family of origin ------- just what kind of impression are they receiving from these adults, who mention weeks later that he is allergic to bee stings, that he still has a faint trace of a "stork" birthmark on his forehead, and now.... 2 months later...... those people in the "protective parent" community are finally learning that Kyron might require prescription anticonvulsants for temporal lobe seizures.

Just..... wow...... do you think that COTU would be impressed with any of Kyron's old adults?????

p.s. It is of course, entirely possible that this was a stranger abduction and little Kyron is long dead.

But it is obvious, I think, that the LEOs didn't consider him dead in the beginning, whereas EVERY single other missing kids case typically is investigating all the registered sex offenders, begging the public, again & again & again to check their yards, their sheds, their gardens, etc.

I didn't even see a parent address words DIRECTLY TO KYRON until weeks after he disappeared.

THAT is so extraordinary to me, that..... sometimes I wish that I knew Nancy Grace personally and could find out what she really thinks about this case.

You see, I suspect that some of her contacts in LE asked her show to please put pressure on TMH ..... well, WHERE has that gotten them, huh???

Meantime, IF the COTU took him into their underground railroad, he could be ANYWHERE, and he's old enough that he'd help disguise himself so he would have to go back to Portland.

I'm not going to watch the press conference this afternoon, I worry about my blood pressure...... I can't even read threads on the crime chatboards, as they really infuriate me, it reminds of the really nasty awful online conviction of Patsy Ramsey....... it was soooo outrageous, it was sooo appalling, and they are still so in love with themselves that they don't realize that only very few similar deviants share their HIGH almighty opinions of themselves.

Just putrid...... and will eventually lead to legislation limiting online freedom of expression.... that's my prediction.

I read that 10 of the Kyron billboards were in English, 10 in Spanish, and 10 in Russian. Ok, I've lost my mind. I could have sworn there was something you mentioned about Russia and maybe in relation to COTU but I looked through the thread and couldn't find anything. I understand there is a large Russian community there but really? Don't get me started on language and citizenship! But seriously, can they not recognize enough off the English signs to understand there's a missing child? I saw one of the Spanish ones and dumb me could figure it out. That's fine and all that there is a large population of Russians but does Portland make a point of putting up an equal number of other signs in Russian? I mean, does the highway department put up street signs in Russian? Does Fred Meyers have their advertised specials in Russian? Do the tv stations run Russian translations at the bottom of the LE press conferences? If not, then Russian Kyron signs are out of the ordinary and so what's the reason?

I suspect that COTU people (probably women) who become involved with hiding children from alleged or confirmed abusive parents probably think very differently from the rest of us. According to the articles (you kindly posted) they are very suspicious of LE and the media.

If Kyron is being held in such a *safe house* and, as you noted, talking about his experiences - then the truth shall set him free.

Perhaps Desiree is still getting untraceable calls from such a safe-house and trying to prove her bona fides as a parent as well as provide LE with enough clues to locate Kyron. What a cat & mouse game - if this is indeed what is going on. No wonder we can’t make sense of what we think we know.
