One month after the disappearance of 7-year-old Kyron Horman, police reportedly said a landscaper told them the Oregon boy's stepmother tried to hire him to kill her husband, Kaine Horman.
After a month with no trace of Kyron the family still hopes for his safe return. The allegation, first reported in The Oregonian but confirmed by ABC News affiliate KATU-TV in Portland through a source close to the investigation, thickens the cloud of suspicion surrounding Terri Horman, the last person to see Kyron before he went missing on June 4
The landscaper allegedly told police that Terri Horman approached him about killing her husband six or seven months before Kyron disappeared, the sources said.

Everyone seems to agree it was a cold and rainy day that day. But is it a FACT? If it was, why was the soccer field being mown? Dunga Dave said he had to caution some kids who were out by their garden not to get too close to his mowing. Dede and the other gardening folks were working at the farm. Terri was doing a lot of errand running (or whatever). All this in the rain? Call me crazy, but I don’t mow or garden or run in and out of a handful of stores or drive all over city when it’s raining.
Speaking of Dede gardening, did she produce a day’s worth of work? The farm is 40 acres and it is assumed that she was off somewhere away from other worker/s. Ok, I will buy that and I’ll buy that her SUV never moved from it’s parking spot and that she left her cell phone in. My question is, she must have had a specific project or job to complete, so was the job completed in a timely manner? If it was, then she couldn’t have been running around with Terri half the day.
About the rain, I’ve read numerous reports that UNLESS it is pouring or storming violently, everyone in Oregon mows the grass even when it is raining, due to the fact that it often drizzles for weeks on end, with no let up, no break, so the grass is mowed wet.
"gardening, indoor"..... It just occurred to me that MAYBE the reason we've never seen the inside of Terri & Kaines house is that they'd set up a Pot Garden in the basement????
I had friends who used to live in Portland and they told me multiple times that there were MANY months where it literally RAINED FOR WEEKS -- and that people don't even use umbrellas, they are so accustomed to the drizzly constant dribbly downpour, day in and day out.
LOL
Well, I sure hope that the FBI can find the jerk who produced this travesty, and that they have grounds to arrest him OR her.
Ick, imagine the mold count.
There is some very serious NEW illness, maybe mold, which gets in the lungs and kills people. It was first observed in Oregon and now is seen in California.
That doesn’t surprise me a bit.
I know down on the Texas coast, the humidity is so high that you can’t get rid of the mold. Everything smells and the A/C just blows it around so who knows what all you’re breathing.

CBS interviewed Kaine and Desiree. Call me cold hearted but this is the first time I’ve seen Kaine show real grief and the first time my heart hurt for Desiree. She also said she has never been told that Kyron was stashed anywhere so maybe that’s just a mother’s last hope.
Kaine said Kyron liked to shave his (Kaine’s) head and rub his smooth head before the hair started growing back. Desiree mentioned rubbing Kyron’s short hair. Odd, this coming out after the the internet talk of skin heads. This is the closest to something personal I’ve seen from them. There has been emotion before, but this was somehow different. Sadly, it seems they have turned a corner. Poor little innocent boy.
They still believe Terri and Dede did it.
I really had presumed that the LEOs had explained to her about the CHILDREN OF THE UNDERGROUND -- given that Terri was so interested in advocacy for child abuse.
I find it interesting that SOMEONE WHO KNOWS TERRI DESCRIBED HER AS QUIET --- because I can really see how a non-assertive retiring introvert would become silently ENRAGED that Kaine, Desi & Tony all seriously believe that she could ever harm Kyron.
I have a very hard time believing that Terri harmed the young boy she raised, and I find it impossible to believe that Terri AND Dede murdered Kyron, that's ... impossible, surely impossible.
****They still believe Terri and Dede did it.****
Not sure what you meant bg, but I believe Terri and DeDe are hiding something. I just cannot see two women conspiring to kill a young child, so what were they involved in that is too dastardly to use for an alibi?
A drug deal? Or handing off Kyron to COTUS?
That is utterly nuts.
Until some hard evidence is presented, the fact of the matter is that there is NO person of interest in this case, and certainly no suspect.
I hope we find out why that one journalist WRITING about the friend's encounter with Terri in Fred Meyers WROTE that Kiara was in Terri's arms --- because I read on the boards that the friend never mentioned that in the actual video.
As long as the LEOs don't care that the public is theorizing 24/7 about this case and want some FACTS, the nasty rumors will continue to take on lives of their own, and lots of lives are going to be permanently ruined, all due to the way this investigation has been conducted. I suspect there will be plenty of civil lawsuits for damages in the future......

I'm just really annoyed by all the posters at all those crime-CHAT boards who keep reading things into circumstances, which are NOT warranted to be read into them -- but they 'YELL' forth their theories without doing ANY google research beforehand. It's just amazing all the erroneous lies presented as "Truth" for why the FBI was immediately involved in the disappearance of Kyron Horman.
Federal Bureau of Investigation - Crimes Against Children - Non-Family Child Abductions
Child Abduction Rapid Deployment, or CARD, teams.
Here's the "who, what, when, and where" of these teams:
WHO makes up a CARD team? FBI agents with in-depth experience and a proven track record in crimes against children investigations, especially cases where a child has been abducted by someone other than a family member. Once selected, team members go through extensive training. Each team has a designated leader. The teams work closely with behavioral analysts, National Center for the Analysis of Violent Crime (NCAVC) coordinators, and Crimes Against Children coordinators.
WHAT do the CARD teams do? Relying on their expertise and experience, team members make sure the investigation moves quickly, efficiently, and thoroughly. They provide our field divisions running the investigations with on-site investigative, technical, and resource assistance during the initial critical period after a child is kidnapped.
WHEN are the teams deployed? Soon after an abduction has been reported to a local FBI field office, to FBI Headquarters, or to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, or in other cases when the FBI determines an investigation is warranted.
WHERE are the teams located and WHERE have.......
I believe you may have mentioned or referred to this site earlier.
The posters seem rational, civil and thorough.
I meant that Kaine and Desiree still believe Terri did it.
Yea, they could be hiding a drug deal or some kinky sex-capade but they may not be hiding anything at all. Terri's timeline has pretty much been proven except for the driving around with Kiara part but that's hardly enough time to dispose of a body, imo.
There is no proof (that we know of) Dede even saw Terri that day. She claims she left her cell in her vehicle, if so then, of course she wouldn't answer it. The farm people say her vehicle never moved all day so either she was there or she walked away or someone picked her up but no one saw her leave and no one said anyone drove up. We don't know what her job was that day - planting, weeding, or whatever but the farm people would know by the amount of work completed if she had been there working the whole day. The owner and another person called her for lunch but neither was worried enough to go out and find her. What I mean is, the farm people must have thought it was normal for a worker to be out of sight somewhere on the 40 acres.
The only one, sure thing we know is that Kyron is not where he is supposed to be.
Did he wander off by himself and die of exposure?
Was he abducted by a stranger and killed or kept alive?
Was he accidentally given an overdose of medication or killed by someone he knew?
Does Terri know where he is; dead or alive?
Didn’t Tyler say he saw him at 9 in the gym? Did someone else say they saw him?
