One month after the disappearance of 7-year-old Kyron Horman, police reportedly said a landscaper told them the Oregon boy's stepmother tried to hire him to kill her husband, Kaine Horman.
After a month with no trace of Kyron the family still hopes for his safe return.The allegation, first reported in The Oregonian but confirmed by ABC News affiliate KATU-TV in Portland through a source close to the investigation, thickens the cloud of suspicion surrounding Terri Horman, the last person to see Kyron before he went missing on June 4
The landscaper allegedly told police that Terri Horman approached him about killing her husband six or seven months before Kyron disappeared, the sources said.

A smallish, “Heads Up” -— over at the monkeys, there’s lots of banter that these Sunday searches MUST be finding something, because they are going on for a very long length of time, particularly since it is SUNDAY.
Apparently they now are searching the farm where Dede was working the morning of June 4th, and one monkey mentioned that it’s quite close to the airport.
Yes, the people in the video live down the road from the farm where Dede worked. However, from all reports it doesn’t sound like Dede specifically gave them x,y,z but that LE is looking at her locations that day. The rumor mill has it that it has now gone from a rescue to recovery.
Someone in an article claimed that even though the farm owner and a coworker couldn’t find Dede for lunch, that her vehicle never moved from it’s parking spot. Could be Terri drove up and they left in the truck. Good thing LE seems to be searching properties outside the farm because IF Dede was involved, she wouldn’t (maybe) put Kyron on the same property she worked on. I still can’t wrap my mind around how someone would help with such a task, on the spur of the moment, much less act calm later.
Of course, it could just be LE has been getting public pressure and this search was merely staged for lack of anything else.

I was just at the above site and started to read the comments when, poof! they disappeared. Strange. Something was said that shouldn’t have been? But it’s easy enough to remove one comment rather than the entire comment section. Or, something bad just happened...

This answers my question about the field on the northside of the school. Easy enough to go out the north doors, into the group of trees at the covered play area, across the field with tall grass, and into the woods.

Today on CBS, that lawyer ex-cop McCain mentioned that it's entirely possible that the current intense search is to find one of those untracable cell phones.
Which... if true... makes me wonder if Terri did send Kyron into the CHILDREN OF THE UNDERGROUND.
Even back in their beginning, in the 1980s they were using untraceable pay phones -- so obviously one of their continuing priorities would be to have utterly untraceable communications.
Sure wish we really knew the "rest of the story" surrounding Kaine & Terri, I feel that we're only exposed to one teeny tip of one of the iceburgs and that it's a total decoy, anyways.

The Underground Children Network is so extensive that it's entirely possible that Kyron is ANYWHERE on earth nowadays, and noone will ever talk, much less spill the goods because they'll fear that it'll endanger the lives of hundreds of the other hidden kids.
Yeah, that’s just it. This group is lacking in the intelligence department. Combined, they’re still a few fries short of a Happy Meal. But we may have to give them kudos for loyalty. Either they really don’t know a thing (which is where I’m leaning) or there is something HUGE that is keeping their mouths so shut. And that HUGE something may not have anything to do with Kyron - sex, drugs, etc. The underground itself has been trained to keep it’s mouth shut, but not these women. Though I still think the GJ is just a fishing expedition.
IF Dede said she lost or tossed one of the phones out there then how come you don’t see any of the searchers with metal detectors but with dogs (there’s various SAR album links on SM and such)? Nope, not buying McCain’s phone idea. They are looking for Kyron but just not making it “official” because of the family. Besides, the women didn’t buy the phones until after Dede worked at the farm and after Kaine moved out. Plus, LE is looking on surrounding properties and other roads. That’s a lot a miles to cover for a cell phone. Needle in a haystack, ya know.
On a side note, I wonder how many cultivated crops (cough, cough) are suddenly being burned or plowed under what with all the LE snooping around...
Ok, looks like the SAR at the beginning has a metal detector. Still, with the large area, the odds of them finding a cell phone is pretty much nil.
The woman in the interview lives more than a mile (as the crow flies) south of where Dede was working that day and 4.4 miles (driving miles) from the school. The man interviewed is down the road from the woman. SAR was also looking about 2.5 miles (as the crow flies) to the west. On a map, draw a 20 mile loop from the school at Skyline to Springville to Cornelius Pass.
I haven’t heard that LE believed the guy about Logie Trail but throw that in which is north and that more than doubles the area. And that’s not counting Albertson’s, Fred Meyer’s, and the gym and who knows where.
Geez, looking around at Portland yards, I’m so jealous. Lush gardens and everything blooming so pretty. Here, the rattlesnakes and copperheads make anything bushier than grass too scary. I can’t even keep the grass from burning up in 100 degree temperatures.
I cannot believe that there exist a group of women in Portland who would help stage a “fake” kidnapping of Kyron, in order for TMH to have her husband murdered.
That’s the latest theory — that the kidnapper would demand that Kaine deliver the ransom, then he’d be killed, and Kyron released just fine and well, and unable to identify the kidnappers due to not wearing his glasses.
Come on, everybody...... just how can you imagine that anywhere outside of a pulp mystery that a group of gal pals would do this???
PERHAPS the local LEOs in Portland DO have enough clearcut physical forensic evidence to prove that this was a FAKE abduction/kidnapping and/or missing child case, and that TMH promised several financially strapped BFFs huge financial dividends if they'd assist her in hiding Kyron.

I was just over at IS boards and one poster claimed that KGW just announced there will be a press conference at 11 AM Pacific time on Wednesday morning.
NEWS!!! A second person seen in Terri's truck Sources told KGW that there was a person in the truck while TMH was inside the school with Kyron.

1) Second adult in the truck - LS, or Cook or who knows?? What time did Dede get to the farm? Or rumor or a different truck.
2) Terri complained at gym two months before Kyron’s disappearance that Kaine was making James leave the home. That was about when James did leave in March. One time Kaine said James butted heads with Terri and he was the mediator, but another time he admitted he was the one butting heads with James. Sounds like it was a bit more than butting heads. Wasn’t it about January for the MFH? Lordy, that house must have been in total chaos.
I’m sorry, but this is the last straw in trying to stay objective. I don’t know if she planned it or she suddenly snapped but, imo, she did it out of revenge. Finally, there’s motive. If she couldn’t have James, then Kaine couldn’t have Kyron.
IMO, that’s why Kaine was so controlling about everything with the media and telling people, including Terri, not to talk. That’s why he believed the MFH so quickly.
That’s why he was always acting so strange. He knows his actions contributed to whatever happened. I’m not putting blame on him for doing anything to Kyron but as a parent he must take responsibility for the climate in the house.
One would hope he told LE right from the get go. That might have been why it was all about Terri so early but LE should have told the public. With LE keeping all hush-hush, it delayed witnesses coming forward because the public had no clue what might or might not be important.
Also, what about the talent show? Terri didn’t go and Kyron was supposed to be in it. But then again, teacher didn’t follow up on him being back to perform either so who knows what the plan was. The show was only 45 minutes so it doesn’t sound like Kyron or anyone had a big staring role so maybe just group type stuff. But still, that would have been the perfect time for Terri to go watch the show and pick up the diorama - but she didn’t.
Also, Kaine was either clueless again or for some unknown reason he never mentioned it in the interviews. If Terri was supposed to have gone, then he would have questioned her when he came home at 2-ish. That doesn’t make sense. Maybe she hadn’t planned on going so it’s mute.
However, I find it strange they scheduled the talent show from 1:00 to 1:45 instead of at the end of the day when more parents could probably have attended. Or at 9:00 when parents were already there instead of making a second trip to the talent show and a third trip to pick their kids up from school.
One thing I’ve learned is that the STUDENT talent show was for STUDENTS, it was not a talent show for parents — and thus no parents came to the talent show.
Since LEOs want to remain silent, and since anyone employed by the school system isn’t permitted to speak publically, online crime chatboards are utterly ridiculous in their lack of factual material to discuss.
At this point, seriously, VERY seriously, I wouldn’t be surprised to learn ANYTHING, virtually anything about ANY of Kyron’s parents.

Do you realize that it has been months since Kyron went missing, and it is only this morning that I learn that Kyron may have been exhibiting clear symptoms of Temporal Lobe Epilepsy ----- and NOONE ever mentioned, ANYWHERE, that there may be a confused appearing little boy out there, out here, having absence seizures???????????
