One month after the disappearance of 7-year-old Kyron Horman, police reportedly said a landscaper told them the Oregon boy's stepmother tried to hire him to kill her husband, Kaine Horman.
After a month with no trace of Kyron the family still hopes for his safe return.The allegation, first reported in The Oregonian but confirmed by ABC News affiliate KATU-TV in Portland through a source close to the investigation, thickens the cloud of suspicion surrounding Terri Horman, the last person to see Kyron before he went missing on June 4
The landscaper allegedly told police that Terri Horman approached him about killing her husband six or seven months before Kyron disappeared, the sources said.

While channel surfing, I caught the last few minutes of Nancy Grace (w/o Nancy) but got angry with it. The guests were sCrEaMiNg - talk about unprofessional. She had not one, not two, but THREE banners taking up the bottom third of the screen with NEW BREAKING NEWS!!! STEP MOM DEFINITELY INVOLVED!!! STEP MOM DEFINITELY INVOLVED!!! STEP MOM DEFINITELY INVOLVED!!! And instead of correcting or explaining that the callers’ statements were from rumors, they just let it go and piled on more rumors. That’s the problem with the msm, they aren’t reliable news sources anymore, they are nothing but televised tabloid gossip rags.
The MFH is the only case on the table right now. Who knows why Dede was called to GJ or what was said.
I must have missed NG when they talked about LE’s having no evidence in the MFH. The few minutes I caught was condemning T over Kyron. LE hasn’t said they had anything other than the landscaper’s word on the MFH. Coincidentally, the landscaper is the common denominator between all parties and all locations. I’m doubtful Kaine and Desiree would ever change their attitude toward Terri if it is proven it’s false or if it was just an off hand vent that didn’t mean anything.
As for custody of Kiara, yeah, probably.
A male talking head said that it’s OBVIOUS that there is no evidence in the MFH and that they totally botched the sting; that IF they had ANY evidence that they’d arrest her on the MFH. He was VERY persuasive.
I think she is happily married to Tony Young.
What a terrible situation for that poor child, the parents, everyone close to the family and in LE.
This is probably the time to step away from TV sensationalism and this thread since we have no facts -only rumors and conjecture.
I have been wondering what if someone I liked and knew; confided in me that her marriage was a horror story - that her own son was being sent away and that her step-son needed to be kept away from his father until *things* cooled down. Would I have volunteered to watch him for a few weeks - take him camping with my family - etc., etc.,??
That solution could have begun - in Terri’s mind- as a cooling off period. It then moved into the realm of a felony abduction. After so many horrendous child murder cases - there was no going back to normal.
Even though I believe TH is a tough woman who sets goals and attains them - she does appear now, to be a troubled, scared woman who has enough residual bravado to keep her mouth shut.

Now that I know that Terri has dozens of Christian friends, and there are plenty of "underground" kids who end up at private academies under false identities, I believe that she gave the Underground Network a story about Kyron needing protection.
I don't think that they believe Terri anymore, but they have to be exceptionally careful about just how they return him to civilization, in order to not put the other, perhaps legitimately hidden, kids at risk of being discovered.
I don't think that Terri thought out her entire plan very well, and I believe that she's done LOTS of "play acting" -- for instance, there's NO way that any afficianado of crime shows would not know that OBVIOUSLY she'd be a prime suspect, along with other family members -- her acting irritated about this is simply sham.

Connie Valentine's current organization is the California Protective Parents Association that has a Web site that is hosted by the California National Organization for Women. Valentine, was once a state employee who worked with mental health patients was reassigned to administrative duties in 1993 after her appearance on a nationally televised show in which she claimed a satanic cult forced her to kill people when she was a little girl. Her organization used the underground term 'protective parent'.
April Meyer is vying for the position of the next Faye Yager. We hear that April has now moved up to Dexter, OREGON with her parents. Her parents, James and Mary Curtis have admitted to helping to hide several underground moms and their children at the so called Curtis Compound. April has appeared on Sally, Geraldo, Leeza and in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette Article. Yet, she claims to not know the location of her daughter. We understand LifeTime Cable did a movie on her story and she made some money. Now let's ask some of these reporters how they concluded that April Meyer had nothing to do with hooking Amanda up with Underground. Do they honestly want us to believe that Amanda alone decided to call up Faye Yager and go Underground......

I believe that LEOs have gone to computers in the gyms & the libraries & at Northwestern Christian College in Eugene, and discovered that Terri has made contact with dangerous people in the Children of the Underground.

Just wondered if there was a connection between the scanner reports yesterday about a possible Kyron spotting by the Marquam bridge yesterday and it being closed tonight. Anyone know if the repairs were on the books for a while or if LE needed to clear the area to search it?

Barrier Work
Oregon Department of Transportation crews will be installing a new barrier on Interstate 5 and they'll be shutting down the freeway to make it happen. The closure will on I-5 northbound at the Marquam Bridge and will be an overnight one starting at 10 p.m. on Friday and lasting until 6 a.m. on Saturday.According to ODOT, the attenuator barrier at the split to Interstate 405 on the south end of the Marquam Bridge has been hit by several vehicles in recent months and needs to be replaced.
Motorists will detoured to the I-405 northbound off-ramp (exit 299B) and continue on I-405 northbound across the Fremont Bridge back to I-5 northbound.
