One month after the disappearance of 7-year-old Kyron Horman, police reportedly said a landscaper told them the Oregon boy's stepmother tried to hire him to kill her husband, Kaine Horman.
After a month with no trace of Kyron the family still hopes for his safe return.The allegation, first reported in The Oregonian but confirmed by ABC News affiliate KATU-TV in Portland through a source close to the investigation, thickens the cloud of suspicion surrounding Terri Horman, the last person to see Kyron before he went missing on June 4
The landscaper allegedly told police that Terri Horman approached him about killing her husband six or seven months before Kyron disappeared, the sources said.

And TMH reminded me of story spinners, not of psychopaths like Casey, Misty & Susan. Just my personal reaction.....
ALSO.... I've noticed that these storyteller people frequently KNOW lots of other storyteller adults, and often the storytellers focus on stories about other storytellers. It's all so morbidly immature I try to ban such characters from my life, but it is SO pervasive, that one runs into them frequently in daily life.
I read a great description of something called Narcissistic Rage today, and yikes, that might explain a few peculiar meltdowns I've observed in other people over the years, LOL . . . . seething indignant RAGE, LOL
Heads up - live interview at KATU.
Notes from the live interview Kaine and Desiree did this afternoon. They were taking questions from reporters they had seen before. I had a problem catching many of the reporters questions due to the sound quality:
K & D - Kyron not home. Crying.
K - asked about taking Kyron’s place said he would take on Kyron’s burden (apparently there’s an article from yesterday about K wishing it was him instead of Kyron)
Reporter - what was T’s motive?
D - just speculating
Reporter - Both of them believe T is involved
K - investigation is progressing
Reporter - LE never used the word “suspect” in regards to T (that’s a biggie)
K - Dede and her attorney are working with LE (gee, D still claims Dede isn’t cooperating, so which is it?)
D - If anyone knows T or Dede to come forward with any information.
K - expanding on that to include those who know Kyron, asking people to come forward. Says people are “afraid” to become involved and to put themselves in Kyron’s place. (well, they don’t want their lives trashed)
K - there was some confusion on everyone’s part about the day and times of science fair. Said Thursday was one part (written or oral?) but Friday was the display part. Said T borrows the truck as she needs it and that her having it was normal. (iow, it wasn’t something unusual for her to have the truck)
D - LE didn’t tell them to talk about Dede. They are briefed every 2 days but no specifics.
Reporter - what did they know about LE investigating at the school again the other day?
D - No, didn’t know that from LE but found out from media. (so, LE hasn’t told them anything about the school so wth has LE been briefing them on?)
D - T living with parents
D - She is speculating on what happened. Doesn’t know if speculation is rooted in hoping for the best scenario that Kyron is alive and someone is holding him.
K - asks for people to look for Kyron. They don’t know where he is.
K & D - don’t know about psychics
K - not commenting on GJ
D - mixed feelings on her life being public - public photos - everybody knows your business
K - can’t discuss MFH
Reporter - does T have a criminal background?
K & D - they don’t know (Puleez, they don’t know?!?)
K - not commenting on Kiara
Reporter - T CSI fan?
K - she watches CSI and Dexter - generally speaking (iow, she’s not obsessed like has been rumored)
Reporter - could Kyron be around local area?
K - don’t know so they’re doing national interviews
D - they were 6 1/1 hours behind whatever happened. He could have gotten a state away
Reporter - or Canada?
D - there is no evidence he’s not alive so she can’t go to the dark places
Reporter - motive?
D - no idea
Reporter - Could there be other key items that would help trigger people’s memories?
K - T’s favorite is electronic communication so asks people read back through their fb or text (I thought LE already had this?)
K - divorce and has a RO
K - he daily pleaded with T to review for any other memories from that day
D - asked T to cooperate but she was surprisingly cold (who wouldn’t be cold to the person who’s accusing you of such - vinegar and honey...)
D - fully believes T is involved

Not much new except K verified again that he and others were/are confused about times about what to do with the science project. If he’s still not clear on it at this date then what makes him think T was so clear on it that day. Remember, D said T emailed her saying she was emailing the teacher to find out when the project could be picked up so D could see it. I know from experience that sometimes just because the fair is finished doesn’t mean that projects aren’t taken back to their classrooms or left up to be enjoyed longer. It was only a week until school was out so why not leave them up a few more days. Some parents work so weren’t able to take them home at 10:00 so it was probably loose.
Another new item is that it wasn’t unusual for T to have the truck. She could have used it for the groceries or whatever she was buying.
Last, the LE has never used the word “suspect” with T. But then LE doesn’t speak anyway.

THe Find Kyron news announcements/ads seem to be coming on hourly or two.
I wonder if other states are running them and if so that frequently.
The bio parents really seem to think Kyron is being held somewhere.
Yet cannot elaborate.
And the bit about people know things but are afraid to come forward with info.
Also asking everyone to go back and check internet postings they may have had the last year with Terri.
So some good advice but also they seem to know something but can’t share with the public/media.
Poor lil guy.
The way the media crucifies people just to hype up there news I am hoping that (above all Kyron is returned to his bio parents safely) but Terri ends up totally innocent of any involvement.
And the media asked about the lil Girl.
How old is the lil girl?
Kaine said he won’t discuss her for her safety and well being. Which is understandable.

Yeah, Kaine’s word was about people coming forward was “afraid” in what I took to mean that they didn’t want their lives to be run through the rumor mill rather than frightened that bad people would come after them. Just look at what happened to Dede after the public got hold of her.
Agreed, Kiara isn’t up for public discussion.
Kyon had on a short sleeved t-shirt at the science fair but in the first family interview a couple had on jackets or sweaters.
Does anyone know what the weather was like between 10 and 11:30 on June 4th? Was it a nice spring day or rainy? Was it hot, cold, or good driving with the windows open weather? If the weather was rainy, I’d stay home but if it was one of those nice spring mornings then a drive would be a nice break, even with a grumpy toddler.
Not that anyone knows where Terri drove around with Kiara but who exactly said she was driving on “back roads” and what does “back roads” mean? Back roads to me means Dukes of Hazzard rarely seeing another vehicle dirt roads with pot holes and washboards and looking in the rear view to see that the road fell through from the weight of your vehicle (don’t ask!). Back roads to Terri (or whomever used that term) might mean just random city streets.
It is my distinct impression that "back roads" is simply referring to NON-highways.
It was RAINING and it was only in the 60s -— in fact, I’ve seen a few titles to local articles, something about the “summer that isn’t” due to the uncommon cool weather.
Anyone happen to hear if she and/or Kaine were active in a local church? Did Terri attend a HOME CHURCH? Whose home? Did she take Kyron to church????

This is what April Meyer remembers about life in the underground.
She remembers sleeping in her car, and eating at McDonald's. She remembers whispered telephone conversations with contacts who would give her hopelessly complicated instructions -"look for the house with the upstairs left hand window light on," and so forth.
She remembers being helped by families that were mostly poor, with children, although an older lady with money once put them up in a hotel.
"You'd drive to an address and the people would run out the door and hand you money and groceries and then run back into their house," she recalls. "It seemed so - well, everyone seemed so scared. We were terrified. We didn't know if the police were following us, although you have to act like they're right behind you."
After a frantic trip across the country in 1988, Meyer and her boyfriend, Ken Brewster, who had fled with her, found a place to stay in Watkins Glen, New York with a pastor.....
Perhaps they are less afraid of Gretched and Nasty Grace and far more afraid of being viewed as accomplices???
Sounds to me like LE knows that people in the Portland area know something about precisely what happened to Kyron.
If Kaine forced Terri’s 16 year-old son out of the house - is it possible that Terri may have sent Kyron off to a friend as pay-back.
But she failed to realize just how much trouble this *vanishing* would cause.
Remember, she was able to *take over* Kyron from Desiree (for whatever the circumstances) and may have thought she could get away with playing *gotchah*. For heavens’ sake, she thought nothing of having Kaine *offed*. IMHO She may have never paid a price for her past bad choices, or reckless behavior.
So I think the whole thing is a game they are playing and Desiree is still angry that she lost Kaine to Terri.
Just recently James asked Kaine that if anything 'BAD' were to happen, where he is living now with his birth father & his stepmother -- he asked Kaine if he could come and live with KAINE.
Yesterday I read articles claiming that KAINE was diplomatically negotiatingn between teener James and his mom, that they were having horrific problems.
I totally disagree. I believe that Desi loves her husband Tony, and I've read that people who have a chance to interact firsthand with Tony REALLY like him. And Kyron obviously adores Tony, because he wants to grow up to be a police detective, just like Tony.Tonight there was some type of shrink on NG, and host Rita asked him about stepmom, and he adamentally claimed that ANY professional could see there was drastic psychopathology in Terri merely from watching her peculiar behavior at the first press conference, and he believes that she's undergoing a huge battery of psych tests & interviews.
How could Terri possibly have such a good trustworthy friend that nobody knows about?
WHO would keep Kyron from his birth parents?
Did Terri have interest in domestic violence centers???
Did she personally know any battered women?
I've read that although DV shelters operate strictly under the law, that 'anybody' who works in one, or has experience in one, knows the secret phone numbers to the individuals who hide the Children of the Underground.
Good point about a trustworthy *friend* - but a distant relative in another city????
A caller asked the same question on *Nancy Grace* last night.
Evidentally NIGHTLINE devoted a segment to Kyron Horman's disappearance last night; hopefully, there will be an online transcript available sometime . . . .
Do you think it has to do with Kyron, or with the MFH?
What do you think she knows?
Do you believe that she pled the 5th, against self-incrimination, and currently the DA is working out some type of immunity deal with her?
From the few comment I've read from her cousin, it's hard for me to believe that she would seriously become intricately involved in anything so illegal as the kidnapping and/or concealment and/or murder of a child.
Does NOT compute.
Seems to me that the MFH is exclusively the ONLY reason that Kaine was able to kick Terri out and assume total custody of Kiara Horman????
