I just looked it up. The Nokia 5800 is a phone. Does Nokia make mobile music devices like an iPod? Do they make netbooks?

Does any one company make smartphones, music players and netbooks?

Apple’s computers do not drive the company and have not for many, many years. The company broke out with the successful release of the iPod, then extended it with the iPhone. And lately with the iPad.

I don’t see other companies doing this.

It’s sold predominantly as a music player, and most people buy them that way. It’s the number one selling music player in many markets including the UK.

And they have the new Booklet (just released), a full-on netbook.

How about Sony? Audiovox? Haier? LG? Samsung? Acer? All make netbooks, phones, and music players. I can give you many more if you like...

Apple is not unique in their offerings nor do they lead the mobile devices section as you defined. I know you don’t want to admit it, because it would mean admitting I was right, but it’s a fact:

Apple does not lead the mobile devices market, not even close. Agreed?
