It’s sold predominantly as a music player, and most people buy them that way. It’s the number one selling music player in many markets including the UK.

And they have the new Booklet (just released), a full-on netbook.

How about Sony? Audiovox? Haier? LG? Samsung? Acer? All make netbooks, phones, and music players. I can give you many more if you like...

Apple is not unique in their offerings nor do they lead the mobile devices section as you defined. I know you don’t want to admit it, because it would mean admitting I was right, but it’s a fact:

Apple does not lead the mobile devices market, not even close. Agreed?

Do all these other companies Sony, Audiovox, Haier? LG, Samsung, Acer have the numbers for their iPhones, iPods and iPads that Apple does?

If so, then Apple is stellar in marketing their name and company. People love their Apple products!

The App Store is incredible as well as their tech support. All around great company. I know you do not agree. You seem to love the bland. :-|
