One of the great advantages of my being over 60....
I no longer have to go gaga over the latest techy toy.
I have my four year old Nokia, which I rarely use, and my
full time desktop internet.
I spent my entire life in radio electronics as my profession.
If someone gave me an I Phone, I guess I would use it as a paperweight.

When your phone gives out, I will get you a jitterbug.

I don't own an iPhone, but if someone gave me one, I would definitely use it. I would put all my music on it for one thing. My iPod touch goes everywhere I go. It would replace both my current cell phone and my iPod.

You can’t get on the internets with your Nokia to rebook your canceled flight instead of waiting in a 45 minute line at the airport or check your email. My old Nokia didn’t have GPS. iPod or all the software applications my old Hewlett Packard had either.

I'm betting you'd like it.

I was a complete skeptic who didn't own any Apple products. I let my wife choose between the IPhone and other similar models and she picked the IPhone. On our move out to Arizona, it became a survival tool, for everything from finding specific locations and restaurant reviews to entertainment for the kids. I bought my own within a month. The IPhone functionality is as flexible as the apps you can load on it, and there are thousands.

I can honestly say it's a tool that's measurably improved the quality of my life.

And I don't really use the phone at all!
