Why hasn't Tipper defended Al Gore?
She could say something about them growing apart but "he's still a good man."
She could say that though they have gone their separate ways he's "still a man of honor."
Instead she is noticeably silent in the face of damning accusations. The media fails to say anything about this.
Gee I wonder way.
“Why isn’t Tipper defending Al Gore?”
Because he hates his ample guts.
“Why isn’t Tipper defending Al Gore?”
Because SHE hates his ample guts.
Frankly Scarlett, I don’t give a damn!
After being French-kissed on national television, how might she feel? Embarrased is just for starters.
I thought she was dumb as a rock that time she came back from Europe and told the Custom’s guy she had nothing to declare - then handed him her passport with all the receipts!
Al Gore is big money nowadays, I’m sure that Tipper has competent legal counsel to make sure she gets her share of the $100 million global warming fortune that he’s accumulated during their marriage.
She’s undoubtably acting on the advice of her lawyer.
Especially if she really knew where that French-Poodle tongue had been.
Tipper has held the leash on the crazed sex poodle for 30 years. She would know if he’s a leg humper, if anyone does.
Otherwise on this topic, Rush Limbog said many years ago that Tipper was the 'better half' of the Gore household, for her courage in standing up to Frank Zappa while Algore fawned over him during congressional hearings. And while I don't agree with what Tipper was trying to accomplish with her "Parental Advisory" sticker campaign (re: censorship), at least she showed some backbone in the face of heated opposition ... unlike hubby Algore who simply melted in the presence of 'rock star' Zappa.
This was a First Amendment issue, and as such I am on Zappa's side of the issue. But what Rush was saying is that Tipper at least had the cajones to stand up for her beliefs, unlike her jellyfish hubby who melted in Zappa's presence.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ did I spell that right?
Frank Zappa, Joey Ramone, and Dee Snyder agree with you,,,,, but you know, she was the inspiration for the movie “Love Story”. Al said so,,, and she didnt shut him up,,,,
Nothing worse than realizing you’ve spent almost your entire life with a first-class jerk!
I don't think "tryst" quite describes the alleged events.
Do you remember there was a story of a young (but married!) Al
Gore doing research on a biker gang, and he spent the night with one of their chicks while telling Tipper something else? Story didn’t get much traction at the time it was on FR. Must have been during the 2000 election. No one believed he was a cheater.
Tipper is enjoying the spectacle of that slob of a spouse going down for the boorish, swine he’s always been. Call it Tipper’s Revenge!
Ain’t that the truth?
She’s in a divorce with Gore and gains nothing by offering any public comment. If he turns out to be a sleaze, her attornies will use that information at trial and no one can say that she said he was wonderful. If it turns out to be an isolated incident, Gore’s lawyer can’t accuse her of exaggerating for financial gain.
She’s probably embarrassed as hell.
