"So to all the board members that don't participate on this list and feel they don't have to answer here, but have no problem holding a meeting without explaining to the public how important this meeting is and giving them the transparency to participate, screw you.
Screw you for not believing we have the intelligence to understand or want to understand these very complex issues. Screw you for thinking that we can participate as parents in our local traditional public schools... selling candy. Screw anyone who doesn't want to have open, honest, and sometimes embarrassing debates on this list. I embarrass myself all the time and I encourage more of you to do the same.
Screw this system if it is the best we can do with what we have when that is simply not true and an excuse to hold on to the political status quo.
The only thing I am embarrassed by is not more people being angry and expressing their views here.
Speak up, be embarrassing, talk education and your views on the current system. This is exactly what it means to be grassroots... not scripted, not calculated. Don't let anyone lead you to believe anything is too complex to understand or change. This is what we hire and elect people for. I've seen things change on the Council. I've seen how easy it is to reach out and keep constituents aware. I think there is all the potential for that to happen with the BOE.
We shouldn't have to go to the State level to get clarity on the local level.
I call shenanigans!"

No problem. Hire a search form for about $150Thousand to present several Affirmative Action Ani for your consideration. One of the minority (sorry "multicultural") idiots will show up with a crew of same for several million in salaries and wreck what ever is left of public education in your jurisdiction.
Quite simple, really. Simple that is, unless you forget that no eurocentric caucasian candidate is fit to be an educator in Obamaland.
