Have you thought about getting a Winchester 94 in 44 Magnum for a companion?
I have one of the Brazilian made copies in 45 colt though I wish it was a 454 which will also shoot 45 colt rounds. Makes a great combo using the same ammo as my pistols.

I’ve been thinking of it. I also have a 3 inch barreled .45 long colt and trade off carrying it instead of the .44 sometimes. If I did buy a lever gun it would be in the .44 mag. caliber(which would allow me to fire the .44 special)instead of the .45 colt because of the accuracy difference.
