LTOS, I know what you mean about sisters and brothers here being closer than your own family. I've not been fortunate to have a close family. Came from a large family which scattered themselves all over the country. My children, well......two of them are liberal over educated know-it-all idiots.

My spiritual sistah, LadyX, went to heaven and left me here and I'm still hurting over that. But I have made other friends, like Amy and Mama_Bear, and when Maggie passed away, a little girl came to me by private mail asking me to tell her about Maggie. What a sweet gesture from one so young. I became a mentor for her; someone she could talk to about the perils of being a teenager. Nattie Shea has been way ahead of her age in intelligence and grace. I became friends with her Dad and Mom and her younger sister. Then I edited a book for her Dad. Last week, carrie_okie and his family came to WV and spent four days with us.

What a sweet family. I will be telling you guys about their visit (with pictures) after they get home at the end of the month (They are on a long family U.S.tour). I didn't think it would be fair to report on the visit without their being here to answer my pings.
