SAN FRANCISCO -- Rafael Furcal and Matt Kemp combined for seven hits with a home run each and Vicente Padilla earned his first victory since beating the Giants on April 16 as the Dodgers completed a series sweep with an 8-2 rout of San Francisco on Wednesday. Furcal had four hits (a homer and three singles) and scored three runs. Kemp, starting for the first time since Saturday, homered and had a pair of singles for three RBIs. Jamey Carroll, spelling third baseman Casey Blake, doubled twice, walked twice and scored three runs. The Dodgers played without Manny Ramirez, who strained a right hamstring Tuesday night and might go on the disabled list.

And, in case any have been following the Matt Kemp soap opera, it looks like he is back.
Go Blue!
Rafael Furcal may be mlb’s best lead-off batter. Wish he was still with Atlanta.
Raffeeeee.......!!!!
He has been a house on fire, to put it mildly.
Jamey Carroll, a newer addition, has been invaluable too.
We have tons of talent, let’s just stay healthy.
Ping, if you’re still following the Boyz in Blue:)
I know, I know! We watch every game and, given the way things have been going, the Giants series was a real shot in the arm for us. Good to see Padilla in top form.
