A guest at a McDonald's restaurant in Mora in central Sweden had part of his finger severed when the hatch at the drive-thru counter was closed on him on Sunday evening.
"A drunk man approached the restaurant after closing. He was aggressive and unpleasant," said Petra Whitehead at McDonald's Sweden to The Local on Tuesday.
According to the police report, a 22-year-old man drove in to the restaurant late Sunday evening and a member of McDonald's staff slammed the hatch closed on his hand, severing his dangling digit.
"I don't know the extent of the damage to his hand. But it is a police matter now and they will investigate," Whitehead told The Local.
"The manager of our restaurant called an ambulance," she confirmed.
The 22-year-old, who according to the Aftonbladet daily has successfully been reunited with his finger tip, has reported the restaurant employee for assault causing actual bodily harm.
Why do I have the feeling Sweden will punish the manager who tried to fend off the aggressive drunk instead of the drunk?
He deserved a break today! lol
Got to track down the chicken finger first.
They call a drunk man at the drive thru “a guest”? lol
The corollary to the above is "Never bring a finger to a window figh"t
;-)
I didn’t know they served chili at McDonald’s! :-)
“Why do I have the feeling Sweden will punish the manager who tried to fend off the aggressive drunk instead of the drunk?”
- Because you are emotionally unstable, work as a manager of a McDonald’s restaurant and we Swedes defeated you in ice hockey somewhere back in 1978?
“Hey, cut it out.”
Come to think of it I haven’t seen any in quite a while.
From the few times I have gone there I’ve noticed they
haven’t been shy about raising their prices. I Might as
well go out for a good steak dinner somewhere else instead.
Speaking of cheap, check out Chick Fil A for breakfast.
You can get a huge side of eggs and an order of hashbrowns
for $2.00. Best deal I’ve found.
“but to accuse me of working at McDonalds??!! Oh, the humanity!”
- I sincerely apologize.
I went far too far.
Anyway:

Tastes like chicken!
Parts are parts.
Guess he did not get a Happy meal that day.
I didn’t know it was customary to leave a tip at a drive thru.
I think we have a winner.
LOL, I love the wording.
