After Dion, Rage Against America, Cypress Hill, and Nine Inch Nails (didn't three of those 4 play Lollopalooza in the early 1990s?), there aren't a whole lot of "known" artists on the full list.
Steve Earle got a Chevy ad (the Communist tinged, "The Revolution Starts Now!") but I doubt he gets much radio play.

NIN and RATM headlined in 08 too. Cypress Hill is there this year, but not a headliner.
Seems like the bigger artists are starting to join in. Definitely the indie crowd is getting in to it. Still not seeing Lady Gaga or the other big summer arena shows get in on it. I imagine Tom Petty will still show.
