Savages,,, why is it that every native, including our own claim to “own” immense swaths of land. Basically they claim everything they see.

Because it all "kind of" belonged to them at one time. I say "kind of" because they had no real concept of private ownership of land, or much of anything else. Some exceptions in the US Northeast and Northwest, were the natives were less nomadic, or not nomadic at all.
Suppose the stripper was dancing on top of the National Cathedral or for that matter the Lincoln or Jefferson memorials? I think there would be plenty of folks more than a bit PO'd. Or to bring it closer to The Rock, at Mt. Rushmore or on top of the Old Man of the Mountain. I think you'd have more than a few PO'd Americans. What about at Gettyberg or Valley Forge?
