Only 10 minutes to go! :-)
That was his 2nd yellow card so he will have to sit out the next if the USA wins.
I see what you mean. Just to clarify, the player who went off was substituted by the US coach.
The player yellow-carded is still on the pitch but if the US qualify will be suspended.
How many bad calls against the USA by the refs do you think will be made to prevent a win?
Yep, that’s what I meant.
Well unfortunately the US players do this all on their own right now.
They are not playing very well at the moment.
Let´s hope they are doing better in the next half or i fear they are out.
The US doesn’t need any help to lose this one the way they’re playing. Refereeing has been good so far this game (knock on wood).
They are not playing great but it’s not the end of the world just yet.
They just need to be more aggressive and take the one or two chance they will get in the second-half.
Edu coming on is a bonus. He plays for my team and has a knack for sneaking a goal.
Hopefully the coach and some veteran players can get them settled down and working together...
I agree the referee has done well so far.
(from that previous thread)
The U.S. is Gha-na win!!
Translation: The U.S. is gonna win!!
Heehee...
and
“Sometimes I think the New York Times would root for Ghana-rrhea over the U.S.”
What is the Man of Wealth and Taste doing there with White Trash Bubba?
I agree that we shouldn’t complain too much about the officiating. We are doing more harm to ourselves (defensively). Come on USA!!!
Calling Altidore, calling Altidore, wake up.
Fortunately, it is still early enough to come back.
I wonder if Slick Willie asked Mick about getting introduced to his hot daughter, hee hee.
Yes on the positive side the US team has shown that they can allways turn an “allmost lost” game.
ML/NJ
They’re closing the space when defending and just got a great chance in front of goal....Positive play here.
Yes they are looking better right now.
AHH Us misses the next chance!!!
damn
I’m worried the US don’t seem to be taking their chances. The next clear-cut chance must be finished.
