Only 10 minutes to go! :-)
Last videos I promise. Just wanted to show my favourite goal that I saw personally at the game, scored by an American soccer plater Claudio Reyna. What a player he was. You can see me jumping there somewehere!!!
Go to 1 minute 20:

And this to get you started. Remember it’s not your fav sport but there is nothing wrong with adding more knowledge and another game you know something about.

I'm sorry I couldn't find a more faithful rendition of the quote but:
When Germany was due to travel to England for a World Cup qualifier, I think it was The Sun that that declared: The Germans think they can come over here and beat us at our national game. Thats alright, weve beaten them twice at theirs.
Yea, gotta love that "TIME OUT" football.
My only regret from the game today, gotta wait 4 years to do it again. Maybe, if we make it.
Compare that to US sports. Almost everyone makes it to the playoffs. Not true agins 220 other countries.
Some of the personnel choices were questionable, don’t you think?
The entire team is a political nightmare.
OK, I'm exagerating because of my past involvement.
I would have about 10 out of the 23 on the team.
One of my players from PA made it during the last several years. I had to fight like hell to help get him there. Again, lots of politics.
The side we sent gave a great effort, and they should be commended for their heart and comeback spirit in representing the U.S.
But for today, the Ghanaians had a Boateng, while the “gahners” had boat-anchors on D....
I agree.
We do need some new youts.
Our current D is SLOW.
Everything here is fine, thanks. Hubby is doing much, much better.
I’m a big World Cup Soccer fan and have followed it since 1978, when I was 12 years old. I’m a fan of all Central and South American countries, as well as of Portugal and Spain, but of course the U.S.A. IS MY #1 TEAM FOR LIFE!
It was a very sad end to a great run by Team USA.
Have you been listening to Chris Plante’s radio show lately? He’s ON FIRE!
GO, GO, GHANA!
or
THEY’RE GHA-NA BEAT US! (and they did!)
or
U.S. TEAM SUFFERS GHANA-RREA ATTACK...
(the last one is me attempting to make a joke!)
Glad to hear about hubby !! Last we’d communicated he was going thru a medical trial. Yeah, it’s been a while.
Chris Plante returned stronger than ever. It’s just great. Hardly miss a morning. And I love the lengthy extract he gets every day during Rush’s show, good exposure. Still upset that WMAL had that terrific forum in DC, then the next week they cut Andy Parks.
And, btw, we have a wedding coming up!! Daughter engaged with wedding in September .. so things are busy in a fun and wonderful way. We went out to CA for her grad (Masters) earlier this month. Engagement party on the 4th. Fireworks galore!
I saw what appeared to be international kickball on the flat screen at the gym today. What is this World Cup of which they speak?
Excellent News! That is Fantastic!
Best to your daughter and the groom, as well as to you & your husband!
Oh this is so exciting!!!
“International Kickball”.......LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
